The purpose of this book is to show God's principles to follow to attain a full, satisfying and significant life. God makes these principles clear in His Word, repeatedly instructing us to choose life or death, blessing or cursing...even going so far as to implore us to choose life so that you and your descendants may live.
A good father will leave a legacy for his children, to the third and fourth generation. Life must be built, little by little, line upon line, with trust, patience, longsuffering, diligence and commitment. Shortcuts in life will be offered but we are not to be deceived by them. Shortcuts will end up leading us into a ditch! True honour goes to those of us who go above and beyond the call of duty. God desires our words to carry weight and be honorable. Proverbs 22:21 says Choose a good reputation over great riches; being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold.

Poorly written in my opinion. Ideas and concepts were very redundant. I was presented this book at my church, where Mr. Barriger was speaking. I was quite disappointed in the book itself.
