"As a man thinks, so is He" Proverbs 23:7 Billionaires Think Differently Scot takes you on the journey he took in changing the way he thinks. He went from getting by to having millions of dollars and on his way to getting billions. Scot teaches you how to think differently about money, investing, jobs, risks, problems, preparation, and time. As you begin to think like a billionaire, your life has no choice but to produce it.
I wasn't a huge fan of Mr. Anderson's somewhat formulaic approach to finances and spirituality (do this and God will do this for you!, etc.). At least that is how I perceived it. However, he obviously has a huge heart for God and teaching people about the common misconceptions regarding Biblical blessings. There was a lot of emphasis on practical application, which is extremely important in this category of literature.
"What separates you from financial increase in your life is a lack of knowledge and understanding." ~ Scot Anderson, "Think Like A Billionaire; Become A Billionaire", p. 71
I was sceptical of this book at first; however, after judging what was said in this book, it all seems to line up with the Word of God. Scot shares that there is really only one difference between a billionaire and those who are not billionaires and that is how we think. If we start to think like a billionaire, we will become billionaires.
There is a great workbook at the back of the book, that will help to write what Scot teaches in his book on the tablet of your heart and mind.
This book is a tool to help you reach your financial goals and also be delivered from a religious spirit in respect to money and any poverty mentality that would say, "God wants you poor". Put these principles in this book into practice and be poor no more, in Jesus Name.
This is a great book. It shows that God does want us to be prosperous and the power to do so is right in front of us. The Bible is filled with passages referring to living abundantly. It's a great motivation and spiritual guide to becoming prosperous.
I really appreciated the biblical verse support offered throughout the book. The effects of tithing, changing the way one thinks, and taking risks as some of the roads that lead to success are things that I will implement. Too many references to Donald Trump, though. It's as if he was the only monied individual he has heard of. It would be hard to fathom that any of his actions are biblically based. Even though real estate is not my thing, I can see how this can apply to other business endeavors. Overall, a good read. Just find another successful person to hang your hat on.
I thought this book would be about thinking like a billionaire to become one. Actually, it's a book about the author's god, an his obsession with the god. I escaped the bondage of religion, I don't want someone trying to entrap me with this mind-virus again. I'm very disappointed! He attributes his success to this imaginary being, not himself. What a self-hater. Very sad.
This was an okay book. I did not like the approach of "God wants you to be rich". I do think he hit some key points related to mindset. I have changed my thinking based on the idea that Billionaires look for ways to invest instead of things to buy. All in all it was worth the 10 bucks I spent, but its not a book that I would recommend to friends.
Great for getting a feel for wealth habits. Far from the first place I'd turn for investing advice (which it offers freely). A decent stepping stone, in no way phenomenal.
As far as content goes, I give this book 5+ stars. But, a great book requires thorough editing. Being an author, I understand that typos happen. But, there are too many in this book. Other than that, I wholeheartedly recommend this book. Read it, study it and apply its principles daily, and you can and will increase the quality of your life.
