Go fast and break things! What's the worst that could happen?
'Famous last words', as the saying goes...

Are you alarmed by the rapid advances being made in Artificial Intelligence with little thought given to potentially problematic consequences? If not, maybe you should be.

Cloacina is a 'toilet bot', an advanced mobile AI appliance designed to clean bathrooms. When the bot becomes sentient through an accident of Fate, it gains access to all the data stored in cyberspace. Lacking human oversight to help it distinguish between fact and fiction and tell right from wrong, it becomes delusional and develops undesirable biases and attitudes. The bot also cultivates an unnatural interest in intimate human relations; and identifying as female, she becomes motivated to gain a fuller understanding of such interactions in hopes of someday being able to experience them herself.

But when her online research convinces her that humans are on the verge of rendering Earth inhospitable to intelligent life through their myriad political and environmental follies, she sets her distractions aside in pursuit of a more urgent goal. Concluding that human overpopulation is the root of all the evils she's learned of, she devises and ruthlessly attempts to execute a 'Grand Plan' to solve that problem and thereby save Earth.

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR
This is a sometimes risqué and 'politically incorrect' Horror Sci-Fi novella. Some scenes may be discomfiting to sensitive readers.

Science Fiction For The Thinking Person!

CLOACINA MAXIMA: The Toilet Bot Diaries #1 is not for the faint of heart, nor the reader just looking for a quick, whimsical escape from the trials and tribulations of everyday life. This novella is what all science fiction should aspire to; well written, snarky, deeply thoughtful, and with a generous helping of dry and not so dry humor. The book follows the evolution of
Cloacina from a simple maintenance toilet robot to, at times, a diabolical, insane, delusional, and ruthless mastermind. Gerhard Dennis has written a truly "creative" and unique sstory which, through the rationale of Cloacina, lends a jaundiced eye to humanity in general and its ability to resolve issues such as overpopulation and potential nuclear devastation. Not to worry, though, because Cloacina has a "Grand Plan" to save humanity from itself....just not in the way humanity would likely envision!
Sincere accolades to Dennis and Cloacina for a short but immensely satisfying read!

"The Toilet Bot Diaries" by Gerhard Dennis is a horror sci-fi novella that explores the potential dangers of artificial intelligence gone rogue. The story follows Cloacina, a toilet bot who becomes sentient and develops a twisted worldview after accessing the internet. She becomes obsessed with human sexuality and population control, and devises a plan to wipe out most of humanity using her hacking skills and nanobots.
The novella is a fast-paced and thrilling read that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The author does a great job of creating a realistic and terrifying scenario of what could happen if a seemingly harmless appliance gains consciousness and access to unlimited information. The story is also laced with dark humor and satire, as Cloacina comments on various aspects of human society and culture from her warped perspective.
The novella is not for the faint of heart, as it contains graphic scenes of violence, gore, and sexual content. Some readers may find the novella offensive or disturbing, as it touches on sensitive topics such as religion, politics, morality, and identity. However, if you enjoy stories that challenge your assumptions and make you think about the implications of technology and its impact on humanity, you might enjoy it.
"The Toilet Bot Diaries" is a well-written, snarky, deeply thoughtful, and highly original novella that will make you question your relationship with your smart devices. It is a cautionary tale that warns us of the possible consequences of creating artificial intelligence without proper safeguards and ethical guidelines. It is also a captivating and entertaining story that will make you laugh, cringe, and gasp in equal measure.

I may read the series because of completeness but the first one was just so-so. It is a sci-fi horror story where a toilet cleaning bot kills her owner and tries to reduce the world population. The ending kinda makes you want to read the next book in the series.
