Born in a mountain cabin to a punk rocker mother, Tess Sharpe grew up in rural California. She lives deep in the backwoods with a pack of dogs and a growing cabal of slightly feral cats.
Can't say I regret reading this book twice. This was my second run around it and I loved it even more. There were moments were I read a sentence and the first thing I thought was "Oh... Okay!" Honestly. Nora is one of the only female leads I can say is genuinely not too cliché.
I loved this YA thriller for its equally suspenseful & engaging plotline AND flashback/backstory segments. Sometimes I will get anxious to get back to the "present" in the story, and perhaps find long passages of backstory hard to get through, but not in this case! For anyone who loves a good romati-thriller.

Only read the first time but I was not expecting the book to be all #trauma. love how this is shown to shape the characters to take the actions that they do.
