Great story!

I loved the book. Growing up in the middle of the Tennessee valley, hunting and fishing along the banks and the woods of the Tennessee river, and logging many miles along the "Trace", I have myself seen and heard a lot of very strange, abnormal critters. Being raised in these woods by my grandparents, I learned at a very young age, never go in the woods alone, and especially unarmed. While I have never felt threatened, the " being watched, or not alone feelings have suddenly appeared out of nowhere, always accompanied by all normal animal sounds suddenly stopping, only to start up again shortly after.
Anyway, excellent story, keep writing them. You have a new fan!

A real page-turner!

Anyone even remotely interested in the dogman will enjoy this book. I love the way the author gives history about the area prior to disclosing what allegedly happened during the famous legendary dogman attack in 1982. I first heard about the attack in American Werewolves the documentary, but this account details it much better.

Frightening Tragic Tale

Fascinating account of the LBL Massacre. I have heard about it from several other books and a few shows. The author gives background and some history of the area, then recounts the tragic tale and aftermath. There are also a number of photos showing just how dense the area is. With what has happened and continues to happen, it is no wonder the former roads and campsites were not just abandoned, but torn down. Researchers still visit this area at risk. I wouldn't want to be out there at night. This event haunted the law enforcement and medical personnel that attended the scene for years afterwards. The event was not publicized and was kept quiet.
