4.5stars--JULIAN is the fourteenth instalment in Kym Grosso’s contemporary, adult IMMORTALS OF NEW ORLEANS erotic, paranormal, fantasy romance series. This is ancient shifter, Prince Alpha Julian Fortes, and Cassia Luna’s story line. JULIAN can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading from book six onwards for back story and cohesion.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise including MFM sexual situations, there may be triggers for more sensitive readers.
Told from omniscient third person perspectives (Julian and Cassia) JULIAN follow in the aftermath of the rescue of our story line heroine. Alpha Julia Fortes believes he had rescued a human female but her ‘disappearance’ meant she was something more.Tracking down the woman that had peaked and interested his inner wolf, Julian would discover Cassia Luna is much more than human,Cassia’s premonitions would set into motion a war between Earth and H&ll. Another amazing story
I have read all of this series over quite a few years, and they are still one of the best series I have ever read. This is the fourteenth book in the Immortals of New Orleans series, and it gives readers Julian’s story. To say that I am excited to be back in this world is an understatement. Ms. Grosso has once again weaved her magic to transplant the reader into this world of magic, mystery and mysticism with a flourish that is all her own. There is something special about Julian, a royal wolf who has been doing what he feels is right that has left him without a pack. However, when he meets Cassia, he begins to rethink his feelings about being a lone wolf. Cassia is someone that you have to meet when you read the story. She is a rainbow of wonder that uses what she has for the benefit of all. Julian and Cassia are perfect for each other, and their passion can be felt through the pages. There is the added bonus of some other beloved characters that are at home here as well. Filled with drama, action, steam and witty banter that keeps tone spellbound, this is one storyline to one click and add to your shelf. I recommend this book and the rest of the series.

Immortals of New Orleans Book 14 This is Alpha Julian Forte's book.
First, I love this series. Every book is an adventure with a sexy Alpha male character, and Julian is the dominant Alpha.
I’ve been waiting to learn more about Julian. He is a prince of wolves born into a royal bloodline. He’s been on his own and alpha without a pack, but Julian has preferred to be that way.
He’s had to live with an ancient curse that was put on his family years ago. It kept him in the shadows and alone. Soon, he meets a mysterious woman, Cassia Luna; she challenges everything Julian feels about himself and being a lone wolf.
Cassia! I love her and won’t give away her background, but I was so excited when it was revealed. It was one of the best reveals I’ve read in a while.
A lot is going on in this book. Cassia is being stalked by evil. Julian, who’s been in Hell literally is determined to keep her safe and find the answers she so desperately needs as to why she’s being targeted.
You will love the other characters that show up in this book. Their sexiness and funny banter will make you crave to know more!

Another Brilliant Read.
I first picked this series up back in 2015 when I stumbled across Kade and I quickly became obsessed with The Immortals of New Orleans.
Every book still draws me in, the stories continue to captivate and excite me. The characters are fascinating, their chemistry is off the charts and I love the connection and witty banter between them all. I laugh, swoon and fall hard for each and every one.
Julian is ALPHA in every way, he just oozed power and raw masculinity, the lone wolf finds a connection when he stumbles upon the very mysterious and beautiful Cassia.
I loved Julian and Cassia they had such strong intense chemistry a great storyline and I loved their connection to Rafe too.
I'm already so excited for the next book as I can't wait to see Rafe reach his full potential, fingers crossed its soon.

Once again Kym Grosso has magickly written a story that propels the reader into a world of demons, hellhounds, magic, mystery and steamy romance. This is the fourteenth book in the Immortals of New Orleans series, Julian’s story.

This fast-moving story is filled with lots of action, drama, action, and banter that keeps you engaged throughout this storyline. I loved all the appearances from some of our favorite characters from past books,

This story was just as intriguing as the previous books in the series. There was the mystery and the inevitable steamy romantic love scenes. The trust that was built between the Alpha and his mate was outstanding. (I "read" the audible edition from audible.com.)

Wow! I absolutely love this series and this story is such a great addition! A fantastic world with such great characters that always captivate me! Julian and Cassia are so perfect for each other. This book has everything you can want…action, suspense, steam, banter, good, and evil. It just keeps you engaged from beginning to end and I really didn’t want it to end at all but I hat an ending! This author always brings us such wonderfully written stories that just pull you in! Absolutely amazing work and I highly recommend the whole series! This is my honest opinion of this complimentary copy of this book

This was an amazing story. It was great to see some of our other favorite characters and meet new ones. This was a new part of the world that we have not seen before which has widened our eyes. It was so satisfying to see the prince of wolves meet his mate and to have 2 people who thought they would forever be alone find their one. Rafe is becoming so much more than we expected and his sense of humor is great. The action Is great and the romance is hot!! This was such a good addition to the Immortals. I will now wait impatiently wait for the next story LOL. I will always wait for the next Kym Grosso story, always worth the wait.

Julian is book 12 and spoiler alert... there's going to be a book 13!!
Julian isn't just an alpha he's THE Alpha, prince of wolves ( already introduced in a previous book).
Never thought he'd find a mate until he meets Cassia.
Loved all the characters in this book, Rafe being a favorite!

Love the Series
Wolves, vampires, a chameleon, demons and more make up this story. Julien is an ancient alpha forced to hide and be on the run. The danger is finally passed and he's been freed to venture anywhere he wants to go. He's in charge of schooling Rafe, a hybrid that is half wolf and half vampire. And then he teams up with Greyson, who is an ancient vampire. As the story unfolds, he meets his mate who turns out to be a chameleon. Their quest to lift a curse off of wolves turned into hellhounds and to slay a demon is full of danger. Excellent reading.

I give this book 3.75 stars. Not at a 4 as I have had this book since it came out but every time I pick it up I read a few words but could not get into it. The audio came out today and I listened to it but read the ending. I should say that I have read all the books in the series several times and really looking forward to more.
I can’t pinpoint why I did not like this story more. I will be doing a whole series re-read/listen in the new year. Maybe going right into this after Viktor will be different. If my thoughts change I will update.

“Julian” is the Ancient Prince of Wolves. He has been alone for a very long time. Recently he has been in HELL and when he got out he has been feeling off. Not only that but he rescued a woman who disappeared from the hospital without a trace. And also he is mentoring a hybrid wolf/vampire and that is a joy, NOT. For being Ancient he sure is busy. Julian is free from the Curse but something is still going on and he is determined to find out and also where the disappearing woman is. Cassia Luna is the woman who keeps disappearing. She is not human. What is she?

This is my favorite paranormal world. Author Kym Grosso's newest book in her Immortals of New y Orleans is one that grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go. Julian and Cassia's characters are pure perfection. The angst, the drama, the heat, the action............it's all here. I loved their connection and how they had to fight for their relationship! So good and I couldn't put it down. Just another reminder of why I love this series and anything that Ms. Grosso writes.

This was very good, I love that there were the Wolf's, Vampires and Demons in this one. Julian and Casia's relationship, happened quickly. Chemistry wasnt that great, for me, but the sexy sex scenes made up for that. These wolf's are a naughty bunch. The plot seemed to be missing something but it didnt make me not want to read the book.
I am looking forward to Rafe's book and will be continuing with this series.

This was a really disappointing read. I've read the whole series and this is the first time that something just feels off. Nothing special about it, even boring. What bothered me the most was the certain type of swearing. Swearing the name of Jesus 38 times is just disrespecting millions of people in the world. The author wouldn't dare name another religions name in the same way. Anyway last in the series for me.

This is another great read by this author. I have read each book in this series as soon as it has been releases. I've not been disappointed by any of the books. This book has all the twists and turns that I love in a story, Fated love, romance, Great sex scenes, mystery and intrigue, and throw in some great support characters. Can't wait for Rafe's story

Loved Julian and Cassia. As always, the author has created a world that pulls the reader in right from the beginning. She has also created the perfect mate for the Alpha. There is plenty of action, of one sort or the other, throughout this book. And the ending, WOW! What a hook!!!

Seriously Julian and Cassia story was a fantastic roller coaster ride. I didn't want to get off.

I love this series. Julian is an intriguing character that has an interesting past. Cassia is unique and kind. What I like both about these characters is that they seem mature. They don't hem and haw and overthink everything. They are present and intentional for each other and their friends.

This is a series I am addicted to. The world of immortals has so much action. Adding demons to the mix creates intense situations filled with death. Such a steamy fast paced read. I highly recommend it.

Once you start this book, you will not want to put it down. From start to finish, there is steamy romance, magic, passion, adventure, battles and mysteries. Julian meeting his fated mate who is a chameleon is the icing on the cake. The epilogue is making it hard to wait for Rafe's story.

Great story
Another great book loved it. Great characters very loveable. My only moan is some of the words wrong or in wrong order so needed to read twice to work it out. This is only a couple of times so doesn't ruin the book. I highly recommend this whole series.

This one was a little different. It was very steamy but also with an interesting plot twist. It was kind of hard to put down. A real page turner. Very enjoyable and entertaining.
