IntuWitchin: Learn to Speak the Language of the Universe and Reclaim Your Inner Magik

Rate this book
A savvy witch’s guidebook on strengthening their innate capacity to speak the symbolic language of the universe and trusting their inner knowing—their intuwitchin.

From the founder of Witch School Mia Magik (@miamagik) comes a guide to what she calls IntuWitchin. There’s a key difference between intuition and IntuWitchin. While they both come from within us, IntuWitchin involves our innate capacity to learn and fluently speak the symbolic language of the Universe. It allows us to receive information from every animal or number, any part of our body, dreams, conversations, and more. We’ve all been told to follow our intuition, but IntuWitchin shows you how. It means reclaiming your magik to see how the world around you is always communicating with you and letting you know which way to go.

IntuWitchin makes you your own teacher, guide, healer, and hero of your story. Putting the Witch in IntuWitchin supports you in owning your witchiness—how your wisdom expresses through you—and synergizing that unique essence with the magik of the world all around you.

The book describes how to tap into your Intuwitchin and apply it in your life with rituals, magikal practices, journaling prompts, and chapters

As someone that follows Mia’s content and resonates with the message she shares, I was super excited to read this book. From the moment you open the book and start reading, you can feel how every word, sentence, and idea is written with full intention and purpose. It feels that the words are chosen in a specific way for a reason, which shines Mia’s personality and gives it a feeling that you are reading and receiving a message meant for you. I loved that there was a combination between wisdom, teachings, personal experience, and practice. It intertwined beautifully, though at times I struggled with the flow and sequence of it all. At some points of the book, I felt the content stayed at a surface-level depth jumping too fast to a new topic, giving me the feeling of rushing through it. Although I understand that the book is meant as more of an introduction, I still feel I somehow wanted a little bit more. I think this was amplified with the fact that there were no citations at all given when referring to someone else’s work, which is a downside as I sometimes like to search for that for more depth and forming my own opinion. Nevertheless, it is a great introduction to Mia’s work and message, a book that ignites deeper questions, and an experience that allows you to open up to new ideas.

Encapsulates an enchanting yet profound practices and downloads that help you to activate your true self. There are so many practices I do not even know where to begin!

Ive even tabbed all the practices so when I feel called to I can come back to what I need at the moment. This book does not shy away that we need to heal our wounds and beliefs about how capable we truly are. Talks about color magik, elemental magik, dragons, how to connect to the earth.

Ever since I read that chapter where messages are everywhere I cannot unsee all the messages that have come my way. I am a visual person so seeing those signs through the elements. I took a walk in my neighborhood and Ive never seen so many cats walk by me or I walking by the cats. Meaning, not too sure but nonetheless signs are everywhere if you just pay attention through the guidance of this book. A MUST read! for anyone looking to enhance their practices with the elements, mother earth, universe whatever calls to you.

Cant wait to see how magikal my life becomes with these practices!!!

Really cringe-y writing. Self aggrandizing personal anecdotes and spirituality 101. Straight to the neighborhood book box.

i had a feeling this book wouldn't be a good fit for me from very early on, but figured i'd give it a shot. i'm glad the author's works and practice inspire others, but our practices are incompatible and our viewpoints are too different for me to gain much from this

Mixed feelings with this book and it's rather about self-help and self-knowledge than witchcraft (that is, of course still the first step in any kind of spiritual path). I didn't like the branding, I can't take the "IntuWitchin" word seriously - luckily I read it in a translated version and there it sounded a bit better. There were many messages that I could agree with (environmental issues, gender equality) but it also had some that made me roll my eyes a bit: e.g. the "everything happens for a reason" thing is a cliché and it can be very harmful too.

On the other hand, I liked the author's personal stories that were often easy to connect to and she had some interesting interpretations. I could totally relate to her spiritual journey that felt to her as some kind of homecoming, which I kind of share my so-far experiences with. I also liked some of her element-related practices: the ones in the Air chapter were probably the most thought provoking, in which she writes about psychodramatic methods and affecting your music-listening habits.

This is, without a doubt, the silliest book I’ve ever read. It’s complete nonsense, and I feel foolish for having bought it. At least I realised quickly what I was dealing with—I couldn’t even make it halfway through. I have to give credit to the author for being a savvy businesswoman. If people are easily fooled, it’s not her problem. I would have returned it, but it’s too late now. I’ve never thrown away a book before, but this went straight to the trash, and with no regrets.

For anyone interested in witchcraft or similar topics, please, please, please rely on legitimate source and not on self-proclaimed 'gurus' like this author, who offer only vague advice about becoming a 'better version of yourself' with no real substance, knowledge, or credible research.

The choice is now yours—hopefully, you’ll make a wiser decision than I did.

stopped reading after the first few chapters, i felt like the authors perspective was quite different to mine from the start but thought id still give it a go to see if i can learn anything useful...

however it just seemed a bit self absorbed and surface level. more like a biography of her personal connection to the universe than an exploration of witchcraft.

then she went on to say how she abandoned her vegan ethics for a plate of ribs because she believed it was her grandmother communicating through her favourite dish ? just, no.

a quick google about the author and it doesn't exactly seem like she's a very trustworthy person, just feels like she's trying to sell an image instead of truly meaning and believing in her practice

Wow. This book was a journey. There's admittedly some great advice in here, but one really has to hack through the weeds of super hippy, slightly privileged stories to get to it. I appreciate the author's advice around mindfulness and listening to your inner knowing. There are some great journal prompts and activities, but the stories that are shared... In the chapter about abundance not being about money, the author talks about enjoying their hot tub, traveling, and having multiple back-to-back 6 figure months (gross). Also, playing with your "moon blood" -is- gross. NOT because there's shame around your period, but because blood is always gross as it carries and passes a number of incurable, life-altering diseases.

A reminder to reconnect with our bodies, higher selves, and Mother Earth to find our IntuWitchin.

Mia Magick reminds us that we are powerful beings, one with Earth, and of our divine nature. It is more of a work of art and inspiration than a text book on how to practice a specific type of Witchcraft.
In her words it is “an invitation to connect with your body, energy, and life in a more conscious, intentional way”.

I listened to the audiobook. I loved her narration.

I don’t make a practice of throwing books in the trash but that was the only place for this one. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of books on witchcraft that will serve you better than this. I know that a lot of people feel empowered by this author’s work but the book is so self-aggrandizing and weirdly branded that it is unbearable. She’s one of those spiritual gurus out to take your money, that’s all.

Intuwitchin is a goldmine of information, rituals and storytelling. Ultimately Mia shares her story of reclamation, reconnection with the earth and her power, with plenty of exercises and journaling prompts to ignite similar experiences in the reader. It’s the type of book I can imagine re-reading and having something new jump out at me ready to be integrated. I recommend!

This book was awesome! I loved how in depth but to the point it was! There wasn’t like BS add in to make it sound magical it was just magical and simple and in depth and I’m already thumbing through it again! I checked it out at the library I’ll end up buying my own copy it was that great!

Mia Magik’s “IntuWitchin” is a beautiful introduction to connecting with both your inner wisdom as well as the magic of nature. Some of the ideas felt too out there for me, but overall, the book is full of inspiration and insight.

Wow!! Loved the audio book as well!! It's super fun to hear Mia read since it sounds like she's just talking to you and teaching you. When I read I could still hear her voice talking to me which was cute. All in all a great read about getting in tune with your intuition and being the magical being we were all ment to be.
