An unhappy wife that believes hubby is sleeping around? There’s a new one! Willam (no i) takes the case anyway, since business is slow and wife Kathy says, “Get moving, bum.” Kathy changes her tune when she finds the case involves someone she knows is trouble and suspects no less with her sometimes blind-sided P.I. husband. Willam’s not feeling real good about the case either, since he finds it’s much more than a wayward husband, so much more that he calls in the big guns and warns them about what he’s uncovered. Kathy? She’s not happy. Willam’s client? She’s relishing that Kathy’s not happy. To make Willam’s worries worse, Stateside, South American, Caribbean, and other-side-of-the-world anti-American partners plod on with a smile, since their deadly scheme is right on schedule. But why won’t the badge-brass believe him? It comes down to P.I. Johnson being in over his head again. Run home and save a marriage and forget the deadly consequences just so he can say, "Told ya so"? Not a chance.
