I have this book, and I'm really excited to try the summer hats as well as one of the fascinator types or easy felt hats. If you're an advanced hat maker, this will be a boring book, but for the beginner without any hat blanks at home, this is great. You con't need any hat blanks (head forms) but you do need some felt, fabric, interfacing, and a way to scale up many of the paper patterns.

Love the book took away a star for the few cheesy felt hats that were included, otherwise a plethora of lovely hat patterns and ideas. my favorite is the black and white summer hat, but the rain hat and the forties half hat were adorable as well as the baby hats!
