I love the original Struwwelpeter and have been trying to get my hands on this one for years as I adore Jan Struther. I finally found a copy that is not in great shape, but was in my price range. I am so glad to have it in my collection. The stories are just as witty as the original, a few bordering on terrifying, which is the purpose after all. So many good lessons for children! Of course, these are not politically correct and one couldn't write it today, but I love it. I think that The Story of Anthony, the Boy Who Knew Too Much is my favourite in this collection.
