Story Telling.
This compilation contained very simple short myths. The illustrations were simple and relevant with large text. I couldn't find any information on what culture the stories were taken from, just a very generic "who's who" at the end of the book. I wouldn't recommend this unless you needed just the barest of facts.

Native American Myths is written by Neil Morris
The pictures on the pages are amazing. The borders have pictures of Indian art, feathers, and buffalo.

There are 16 different myths in this book in addition to an intro, glossary, index, and a section with additional information.

My favorite section in this book is a “Who’s Who” section. In this section it explains important characters. For example, it tells that the wolf-like coyote is usually a trickster. In this story the Coyote helps people.

A short book filled with Native American tales, this book would be great for children. I enjoyed the stories, but it felt like there was more to each one.
