*USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR*

I was born in Montreal, Canada, at a very young age, where I still live with my spouse, Joanne, under the watchful eye of Krystalle and Midnight, two black females of the feline persuasion. In a former life, I completed my studies at McGill University and worked in various management capacities for a handful of firms for countless years. From there, considering my extensive background in human resources and finance, it was a logical leap in my career path to stay home and write crime thrillers.

My first stab at writing was actually in 1995, the result being my first novel, "Vigilante". Two others of the same series followed by 1997 but all three remained dormant until publication in 2009. Since, besides writing a stand-alone, five other thrillers have joined the VIGILANTE series. I also penned "Something's Cooking", a faux-erotica parody and cookbook under the pseudonyms Réal E. Hotte and Dasha Sugah. I'm currently working on "See You in Saigon" and "The First Sixteen", two further installments of my series. I have to say, I'm enjoying this writing gig.

Other interests besides writing and subtly persuading people to buy my books include reading, making noise with my six guitars, painting (oil and watercolour), cooking (year round though I love the grill in the summer), traveling and planning to work out soon. I've also been known to sleep on occasion.

Making 'Friends' with the Man Trying to Murder You...

The discreet investigations team are all becoming targeted in several recent actions that tie them together. The man after them is out for revenge from years ago. William, as he was known, thinks it is smart to get to know his targets personally, moving in a condo in Chris' building after following him, happy to find him connected to all his other enemies.
A great mind game as William gets close to the men and their wives, believing he will be done with his revenge soon, but he sure doesn't know the abilities of our vigilantes!! Suspenseful, quick story with a great outcome!!

Another one for the team

We know who the bad guy is all along, but the why's and how's are what make this story. Be sure to catch the clues; it's the little things that bring him down.

Evil has a long memory as we find out in the twelfth book in the series. Fans of the series will recognize a name from earlier in the series.

A vigilante's drive is justice. The rub is that sometime justice is just another opportunity for evil to be visited upon the innocent.

A serial killer has escaped prison. Evil has a plan and a target. Death is sure to follow.

The heroes of the series are Chris Barry and his crew from an off-books government group aptly named, Discreet Activities. The team is made up of very talented people who all share the same goal. Serve justice, protect the innocent and helpless.

I've read each book in this series and even a few of them multiple times. I'm a huge vigilante fan so when I discovered the series I had hope that it would be an enjoyable escape. I couldn't have asked for more and that first book turned into a marathon reading session as I chewed through the series.

One of the great things about the series is that even if you've never read any of the other books you can pick this one up and have a very enjoyable read. Part of what makes it great is, as you read you'll wonder how all these personalities came together and what are their stories which, will most likely have you jumping back to your favorite book seller to start from the beginning. I actually recommend that's what you do. That curiosity will fuel your reading frenzy and adds to the experience as you wait to discover the mysteries behind the characters you've been introduced to.

I recently discovered that the first six books have been made into a set so that is what I recommend for all new readers to the series.

William Enright, the serial killer from book #4 is back. Having effected his escape from a maximum security prison, he is intent on getting even with the team that put him there. Years of incarceration have made him a bit sloppy, as he soon finds out when he tries to kill his first victim. And his second. Plastic surgery has significantly altered his appearance so his plan is to endear himself to the team he hopes to eliminate. It won't be much of a spoiler to tell you, it doesn't work.
