I was given this book by the author in exchange for an honest review. Let me preface my review that it sorrows me to give the book this rating because until half way through it was a solid 4 star novel.
The Soul's Mark: Found by Ashley Stoyanoff seems like it's going to be just another paranormal novel, but there's a rich backstory here, and we are introduced to Amelia, who is a teenager who has gone through a devastating experience, but wins a scholarship to a prestigious school and it seems all of her dreams are coming true. She meets new beautiful friends who seem to accept her for who she is. That said, she can't hide from her past, and the dreams she has of a true love haunt her real life. Will Amelia get the courage and strength to live in this new life and move on from the tragedy of her past?
I'm trying not to give away too much here because there are some terrific plot twists that you should discover on your own. Like I said above, I loved the first half of this novel. Amelia is a tentative protagonist who had a lot of growing potential-- you couldn't help but like her and know that she was just going to get stronger and better throughout the book. The other characters are intriguing. The setting and the set up of the story was fascinating and the pacing was spot on.
Then halfway through, something happens. I'm going to have spoilers in this paragraph so beware! We are introduced to Mitchell, who is one of the most unlikeable male protagonists that I have ever met. There are reasons for why he is so unlikeable, but the "good" aspects of his personality aren't that appealing to me either. Not to mention he's a bazillion years old and acts like Amelia's FATHER, and yet they are supposed to be in love??? I couldn't grasp his overbearing nature and the dramatic difference in their experience and personalities and ages-- the gap has never seemed so vast. Top that off with Amelia becoming less appealing when she's around him. I couldn't help hope that she would find a way to permanently sever their link.
Overall, a very promising start to a novel, but the last half was a difficult journey for me. That said, Stoyanoff can obviously write and plot, so I think she's just going to get better with every book. I'd definitely pick up the next installment or her next book whatever that may be.

Read this book in one day, it had me captivated from beginning to end! I loved the bond between Mitchell and Amelia. They were always fighting and challenging each other, but they never walked on ice around each other and I liked that. Really, Really loved this book!

Well, I loved this book! But somehow I can't find the appropiate way to review it, that's why it took me so long to post it.
Above all, it was a fun reading with an impeccable writing and unique storyline combined with perfectly constructed characters. A nice twist on soulmates, a refreshing premise with vampires and some magic. Definitely a fantastic start for a series!
The whole book goes around Amelia, and the story begins when she earns a scholarship and move to her "dream house" and meet her new friends. She has quite a temper! She is strong and brave and even after a dreadful past, she is funny and easy to relate to.
"Jeez! Is this the attack of gorgeous people?" (that line seriously made me giggle!)
In my opinion, one of the most important moments in a book is that exact second when the lovers meet.
Here, as we have a love triangle (well more like a love square at some point lol), we have 2 main encounters.
When Amelia and Eric met I couldn't stop grinning. The situation was perfect and hilarious.
With Mitchell... well... the moment wasn't that awesome, but the truth is I'm biased here lol, for me Eric is totally amazing and Mitchell is not lol, he summoned a rollercoaster of emotions and there were not always good: I loved him, despised him, loved him again and so on.
Sometimes he annoyed me completely, he was selfish and childish, at some point I thought he didn't care about Millie at all. . There were many things he did that made me wonder if he was that in love with her or was simple infatuation.
On the other hand, we have some other characters such as Angelle who is sweet and unnerving at the same time, and I believe there is more of her story to come, there was a sneak peek of her past and was great, a little sad, but interesting nonetheless.
Also, there is Erin, the friend. She is such a complex character as well, one of my favourites, witty, loyal and caring.
There was a moment within the story which I personally found to be extremely sad, it was Amelia's talk with her mum, it made my heart stop. So emotive!!!
What else can I add? Eric is delicious and I wanna read more about him. And of course, this book goes to my favorite shelf for sure!

Amelia's parents were killed when she was young. Until her 18th birthday she grew up in the foster care system. That is until she won the Dreams Come True Scholarship. Everything is looking up for Amelia but she is also have strange dreams about a guy she is now in love with. Little does she know Mitchell isn't just a dream, he is real.
I don't want to give too much away on this one. There are so many facets to this story and as you read you will figure them out. I really struggled with the first half of this book mainly because the main couple didn't even really meet until 46% into the story. It was highly frustrating. When they finally were together I loved it but I will say Mitchell did something that really bugged at one point in the book and he wasn't a very likable hero. I really wanted a more alpha male but aside from a couple of jealousy scenes he was really pitiful by the end of the story. I didn't like that at all.
When I started this book I assumed it would be very Twilight like because Angelle was much like Alice in personality. This book is nothing like Twilight so don't skip over it because of that. This was a fascinating paranormal romance that is really quite original. I've never read a storyline like this before.

A truly fantastic read! The characters are unusual with realistic human elements and emotions that draw you into the world of Stoyanoff's vision. This is a definite first, as the conflicts are authentic to the real world while infusing the supernatural in a unique way not touched on in other books within this genre. The main character of Amelia is an authentic young woman whose backstory intrigues the reader. Her feelings are always justified, without compromising her vulnerability, and she finds the ability to assert herself in a refreshing, honest fashion. She is definitely a character to admire. Mitchell is a character with whom the reader develops a love/hate relationship. His faults are countered with acts of genuine affection and sensitivity. It is because of his faults, not despite them, that allows the reader to identify with and ultimately cheer on. Highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to get lost in the fantastic world created by this author. Can't wait to see what happens next! Hopefully there will be a Part 2!

I was so glad I got this book to review as an ARR. It was so good! I debated between 4 and 5 stars, but the 5 won out:D I definitely recommend this to everyone.
Amelia is a broken girl that has been in foster care after her parents were murdered. She wins a scholarship for a university that pays for everything and finally has a chance to get away. During the first chapter or two I thought she would be a weak, shy young woman. But then as she met the people she moved into a castle with, her personality started to come out, and she turned into a strong caring young woman with a beautiful temper.
Then Mitchell finally comes more into the picture, and I just love him! He isn't perfect and also has a nasty temper at times, but he is Amelia's perfect other half. There is also Eric, Luke, and Tyler that I hope all have more parts in the next book.
I think I only gave away the first of the book, so I didn't spoil anything. This book has a lot of trials and conflict and enough going on to hold your attention. I cannot wait for the sequel!

With so many vampire themed books, "FOUND" is completely different from the others. The main character , Amelia, chooses to fight what she feels and that is was is so remarkable with her. She is still rational with her decisions.
Thought the main character is quite rebellious, it showed how instinct, life experiences and friends , teaching us that no matter what, we, ourselves should have a say in our life.

The Soul's Mark: FOUND starts off with a wallop and ended with a smile. When I was contacted by the author to read this book, I had no clue what it was about not having even read the synopsis as yet, which having now done so is a good overview of the premise, but hey, I love a new book and could not pass up the opportunity to read something new from a new to me author. I enjoyed this book very much. The Soul's Mark begins with Amelia traveling by bus to start a new life having received the ultimate college scholarship. She is hoping for a new start after experiencing a significant trauma, she is emotionally broken, insecure, pitiable, and verging on having her fear overtake her. I will admit I did not care much for her character at the beginning, as I tend to enjoy a stronger protagonist, but as the story progresses Amelia grows in spirit and strength and is forced to face incredible challenges that bring out her strength and by the end of the story I was ready to shout "you go girl." For me this was an entirely new take on the premise of soulmates it was fresh and well written and the more I read the more I became involved in the characters and their lives. I would certainly recommend this read and while I do not know if it is the beginning of a series or not, I can definitely see room for the story to continue, and I would love to see the supporting characters stories told. I am and am looking forward to more from Ashley Stoyanoff and will definitely be watching for what comes next.

At first when I heard this book was about Vampires I was a little disappointed. As we all know, that genre has been done to death, but the story was so original, it didn't take long to get past my vampire prejudice. I had just read a book that was quite a disappointment and was thrilled that this one grabbed hold of my interest and wouldn't let go. I read this book in one day, and didn't want it to end.
What I love about stories of soulmates is the intensity of the two characters, especially the male, and this book had that in spades, although I would have like to have witnessed when they first met, when they first fell in love.
All the characters were believable and interesting, I loved and hated Mitchell and was so glad he didn't disappoint me in the end.
A great read and one I highly recommend.

Once I picked up this book, I could not put it down! (I read it over a course of two days, the fastest I've ever read a book of this length) I loved everything about this book and hated that it had to end. Trust me, this is not your traditional vampire novel. It's a love story of sorts with a heart-wrenching past. The supernatural aspects of this book blew my mind, I love the approach Stoyanoff took to express them! Clever and modernistic!
I absolutely loved the writing style of this book! The character development and plot of this novel were superb. I normally have a hard time keeping up with a book that has a lot of character dialog, especially if it involves more than a few different characters. The conversations in this novel read so naturally, that at times it felt like I was in the same room as the people talking. (A very surreal and awesome feeling!) I grew an instant connection with most of the characters, feeling their emotions and thoughts. Hands down, Stoyanoff's writing style will keep you entertained and craving more!
I am excited that a sequel is in the works and CAN NOT wait to see how the story unfolds!

You Can Not Run From Destiny

The Souls Mate:FOUND Has made me fall in love with vampires again, I'll still having a love/hate relationship with YA novels but hey I'm super happy because I haven't read a good vamp novel since Dracula, I'm more of a shifter kinda girl but I read the synopsis then I was hooked, I just had to read it and it didn't disappoint it actually got me quite addicted.
I was soooooooo hoping there was more in the series!...no more it was more demanding, demanding more in the series and thank god those demands have been heard in the form of The Soul's Mark:HUNTED!
Ashley has a wonderful way of making the reader feel the characters emotions, I seriously could not stop giggling, it was terrible & those feelings of first crush's ekkkkkkk so embarrassing!
"Hot, she thought. Green hair, hot? Well, on him, yes, it was really hot."
I think I forgot to mention in my first review how original & totally epic the Soul's mark is, like the concept I mean it's has to be one of the most original concepts I've ever read + ash pulled it off perfectly. I can't believe I've never thought of it before, a vampire's Soul linked to a human... it just makes so much damn sense! & it's quite romantic.
"He was close enough that she could feel the heat of his skin. But even with this closeness, Amelia felt as if they were painfully far away from each other. She felt a tug, as if she was being pulled towards him by an invisible chain and without realizing it, she slid closer. He reached out, brushing away her tears and leaving behind a sizzling trail of sparks where his fingers had touched her skin. Her heart beat erratically, thumping like a jackhammer."
All tho i liked all the characters each in there own special way, I'd have to say the character I loved most was Amelia, she just had that crazy, lovable, loyal charm.
The Heroine:
Amelia was a fresh take on a female lead..if only for her curly locks (I'm naturally curly so I love lead females that are too... Crazy I know but it makes her more relatable) Smart Strong & Confident just want a female lead Needs to be but she was also stubborn, emotional & not Submissive! (Thank God!)
The Hero:
Mich the Male lead was a bit over protective & dare I say it possessive ( but not to the extreme some books take it).
His ridiculously hot & despite his faults his a compassionate & loving character.
The Hottie:
Eric....omg his not a total lead but as you probably guessed already I'm in total book lust! His just the kinda guy I go for insanely hot, with Crazy Hair (mmmmmmm), maybe not the smartest guy around but with a heart of gold & a wicked sense of humor!
Ashley Did a great job of weaving this light hearted romantic novel together with a devious paranormal twist, I'd defiantly recommend it to all lovers of YA, Vamps or just anyone!

When i read books i either like them or i don't. For some reason this book made me absolutely love it at times, i wanted to hug every character and high five them, but at certain points i wanted to punch some of the characters and scream at them. This is just one of the reasons i HAD to keep reading. At first i wasn't too sure about the book and i thought about reading just for another 20 minutes or so, then the next thing i know it's about 1 hour later and i'm still going and showing no signs of stopping! At the start like i said i wasn't too sure about the book but by the end i loved it! :) Some parts were maybe a bit rushed but overall i loved the book and i will definitely read it again :) And i personally liked the ending :) I hope there will be more books after this one, and i will definitely read them.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is a paranormal romance including vampires and witches though you don't really get any introduction to the truth of this matter until you are about half way through the book. The story was different than most of the previous vampire books I have read and it was very refreshing. By the time I got to the end, I was wishing for more of the story. I sincerely hope that there will be another either sequel or series based book. I would definitely be interested in reading the stories of the other characters as well as the continuing story of Amelia and Mitchell.

Holy Molly, this book was intense. I would reccomend this book to anyone who likes to read about badass vamps and a sexy one on the side. Poor Amelia at first but as the story starts to progress she is luckky to have a guy like Mitch.. ahh the description is so great i can actually picture him. All i can say is grrreat job Ashley this book was invigorating...I could not stop reading.. I was aching in every page for a happy ending for both Amelia and Mitch, you can actually feel for both of them the fustrating they both have the anguish of their never ending love. Gosh im rambling but its that gooood :)

Four and a half stars! Ashley Stoyanoff does a wonderful job creating this paranormal romance. I found myself having mixed emotions with several characters, this kept me on edge, (which is a good thing).
Amelia finds her soul mate, embraces destiny, makes life changing decisions and sees things are not all black and white. Is it a good or bad thing to have a soul mate? With her personal tragedies she has endured and tough choices to be made, Amelia grows into a strong female character. Look forward to reading more from Ashley.

I really enjoyed this book! Once I started I couldn't put it down I was up all night finishing it! The book started off really good and I loved the characters .. Ameila was great she fought for what she wanted and well Mitch (HOT) I love and hated him but he really grew through the book, and in the end he didnt disappoint!!! I hope to see more from this series! I also hope we get to see what all Eric has to offer! I highly recomment this book!

This is a book that starts out badly but gets very compelling later on. Unfortunately I'm not sure about the message the book sends, and this is a conflicted review. I will put some of it in spoiler tags.
Amelia has just won a scholarship, and is hoping this can be the start of a new life. Her parents were brutally murdered years ago, and she longs to put all of this behind her and start college. However when she arrives, her "scholarship" is odd as hell: she lives in a palatial mansion with insanely beautiful people who seem to know everything about her, and everyone in the town treats her like a minor celebrity.
While she gets used to it, little does she know that she has an almost insane destiny to fulfill, related to what she thought was just a figment of her imagination. She bears the Soul's Mark, and being marked is a burden that may be impossible to bear.
Okay, unspoilered parts first.
Good: There's a twist that happens that is very well done, and comes entirely out of left field. Usually books like this have a "What the hell is going on?" moment, where everything is explained and book proceeds proper. This one has it, but the explanation is so out there for this type of genre that it almost makes it feel like an entirely different book. A better book, honestly.
Seriously, the book gets compelling later on. There's issues with this, as well. I'll go over it later.
Bad: The start is dull. You could be forgiven for thinking this a bad book based on that alone, but when the twist comes on, it really redeems it in my opinion. The start is quite a few pages of girliness (shopping, drool over the cute green-haired boy, partying, etc) with a mild "why the hell is all this perfect stuff happening to me?" from Amelia. Amelia's parents being murdered just gets dropped into the plot, although it plays a bigger role later on, for example.

The Review:
This book was seriously cool and I enjoyed it a great deal. The writing flowed smoothly, the story was amazingly well done and the characters were fun and exciting.
Stoyanoff does a terrific job painting an entertaining and picturesque background for the world she is creating. Everything from the mansion to the town to the college where her characters interact was captivating and well thought out. I loved the idea of soul marks, what they mean and how they came into play. I also loved the familial feel to the characters and how they cared for and protected one another.
Amelia was a wonderful female lead whose tragic past and the ever changing world she was thrown into kept me sympathetic to her emotional state. Though at one point, her “huffing” over trivial things started to annoy me, the story quickly moved on and her character began to develop.
Mitch, Millie, Angelle, Eric, Luke, Lola, Mabel, Ty and Erin were so much fun! The cast of characters ranged from passionate to neurotic and I loved every one of them, even the antagonists who played their parts well.
Dislikes:
There aren’t many dislikes for me in this book! However, the beginning started off a bit slow but quickly picked up about three chapters in. Don’t get me wrong, the information was necessary for the story set up, but it felt like it dragged on a bit too long. Also, the ending, though very exciting, left me scratching my head at one point. Regardless, I really liked the whole book so these points are minor.
The Wrap Up:
Im totally recommending this book to my friends. I loved it, I loved the writing and I loved the story! All the characters were fun and each one brought a little something special to the story. This was an amazing start to what I feel will be a wonderful series and I’m anxious for the next book!

I Got this ebook in exchange for an honest review
Okay, where to start...the plot was really strong (as it had strong support). The storyline was obviously better than Twilight (sorry for all those Twilight lovers, but I just HATE it with capital H A T E). The vampires were so realistic, they didn't sparkle like little girlies mixed with glitter and they took everything nice and slowly. Although they told her the truth near the end/middle, the story progressed in a nice pace, showing that this story was obviously not rushed. The story stared of with the prologue, making me a bit confused and curious, which made me keep reading. The start of chapter one hada strong impact on me. I don't know why but it completely grabbed me in. I wanted to keep on reading so I sat there, in front of my computer, actually reading and staying on track (which usually doesn't happen). That just shows how strong the beginning is, considering the fact that I usually get distracted by things easily when I read the beginning of books.
The fact that this book was about vampires kind of amazes me because after reading the first few pages of Twilight, it made me really dislike vampire books. This completely changed my view on vampires. So what if they sparkle like princesses in one book? That doesn't mean that all vampires are total daisies. Well anyways, this book made me think that ALL vampires (excluding the ones from Twilight) are really that dreamy, handsome and strong. If this book changed my perspective on vampires this much, it deserves 5 stars already.
Anyways, the characters are awesome. Although it took me a bit of time to like Amelia after she broke down, I still believed that she was a strong character with everything that had happened in the past to her (I won't say anymore before I spoil it). She still kept her head up high after finding out many things. Although she wanted to leave, it was obvious that she still had the stong will inside of her that insisted she should stay.
As for Mitchell, he is a completely mesmerizing character. Even though he is overprotective and a little possessive, he still finds a way to make that all show that he just does it out of love. Although he seemed so much like he was thick-headed and strong, in reality, he shows that all in order to protect his fear of losing Amelia again.
What I would really like to see are all the other relationships develop a bit more. I really want to see more of Angelle and Ty, and Lola and Luke. I would also want to see a little love story blossom for Eric too!
so overall, this story was amazing with stead progress and a great plot. Can't wait to read the second one!

The Souls Mark: FOUND is the first book in The Souls Mark series. As with most first books in a series you have the getting to know the characters faze. And while that is true with this book, it is also packed with action, romance, suspense and back story.
This is the story of Amelia Caldwell, who moves to Willowberg after winning a scholarship. Instead of living on campus she will be living in the home of the town's very wealthy and influential Mr Lang. At first Amelia is completely overwhelmed in her new surroundings. Not just by the palatial home, or the complete acceptance and warmth from the others who also live there, but by the stir she creates at school. She is like everyones shiny new toy and having never been a part of the popular crowd before she is slightly taken aback!!
But Amelia soon learns that her friends are not all they seem, her soul has been marked by Mitchell Lang, a very powerful vampire, contrary to what she has always believed, soulmates really do exist and she will learn things about herself that will she never imagined in her wildest dreams!!
You definitely couldn't say that this was a boring read!! There always seemed to be something happening to hold my attention and the vampire story, although having been told countless times before was new and original.
Amelia is incredibly strong willed and likeable. She has been through and witnessed first hand a lot of trauma in her life. But I have to admit there were times that I was frustrated with her quick temper. Her Vampire soulmate Mitch Lang was a character that I had a real love/hate relationship with. He could be so loving and sweet and in the blink of an eye be incredibly violent to the ones he claimed to love. Yes, it had a lot to do with their souls bond, but these two are volatile together!!! Amelia is fuelled by independence and Mitch is fuelled by jealousy. But they also love each other with intensity and passion. For me, my favourite character was Eric. I loved his fun side and sense of humour. I loved that he marched to his own drum. I loved his green hair. I loved his concern for Amelia. I just loved him!!!
All in all The Souls Mark: FOUND was a great read!! I read it in one day simply because I was excited to see what would happen next. Original and well written. I can't wait to start book two!!

Chaos erupts and emotions run high, as the destinies of two very different people finally merge. Secrets are revealed, painful pasts are faced, and closets full of skeletons all break free at once.
Amelia is a pretty relatable female-lead character. She's stubborn, strong-willed, determined and loyal. Even though she's found her soulmate, she tries to break free from him, simply on the principle of not belonging to someone else. Mitchell is a pretty accurate vampire guy, I'd think. He's possessive, emotional, stubborn, and hot-headed. Together, they make an explosive combination, that easily creates an interesting story. With the help of some fantastic side characters, this intense page-turner quickly grips you, and keeps you gasping in surprise.
Ashley Stoyanoff has created an incredible story with this book. She put a fantastic new spin on vampires and soulmates, giving an imaginative and romantic twist to an old myth. With quick writing and a good mix of humor to balance out the seriousness of the situation, this book quickly grabbed my attention, and left me very thankful it's only the first in a series. Overall, I really enjoyed it, and I would recommend it to any YA/NA paranormal or vampire fan.

Mitchell was interesting and very deep. He had his faults, but I liked that he wasn’t just flat and too perfect like some characters. He had a good heart, but was a bit too impulsive at times.

For a short story it was pretty good. I enjoyed it to the very end. Except for the grammatical problems that there was I simply could not stop read it.
It was a little disappointing when we did not get to see more of the past lives of "Millie", I was interested enough to have enjoyed reading more of that section of her life, but wait I am getting ahead of my self. ") often do that.
I believe and felt A.S did a wonderful job unfolding the story and the characters made me feel as if they were my friends too. I thought she could have prolonged the suspense more but I like it sometimes when a story is sweet and to the point and does not drag along giving u so many details your head spin! It was a light, fluffy tale.
So it was about a young girl who wins a scholarship and ends up moving to her fairy tale town and a fairy princesses' castle. Meeting great people who seem to care for her and are friendly right off the bat and she does not seem to feel like an outcast as she had before. But as all tales will have it there is no guarantee of a H.E.A without some bumps in the road. This one phrase from the book itself basically sums everything that I want to put into words.

It was a little disappointing when we did not get to see more of the past lives of "Millie", I was interested enough to have enjoyed reading more of that section of her life, but wait I am getting ahead of my self. ") often do that.
I believe and felt A.S did a wonderful job unfolding the story and the characters made me feel as if they were my friends too. I thought she could have prolonged the suspense more but I like it sometimes when a story is sweet and to the point and does not drag along giving u so many details your head spin! It was a light, fluffy tale.
So it was about a young girl who wins a scholarship and ends up moving to her fairy tale town and a fairy princesses' castle. Meeting great people who seem to care for her and are friendly right off the bat and she does not seem to feel like an outcast as she had before. But as all tales will have it there is no guarantee of a H.E.A without some bumps in the road. This one phrase from the book itself basically sums everything that I want to put into words.
"There is danger in your future. Many wish you harm and will seek to

OMG! I read this in a day. I was glued! I loved this book. I thought this book was more about the relationship and emotions then about the action.
I loved the characters. The vampires were not your ordinary blood-sucking, nighttime only scary vampires. They can go outside in the sun ,they can eat food but it's just for fun (so to speak), and they lose their soul. It was put on them by a scorned witch -that the soul of the vampire is attached to a human and they are destined to wonder through several lifetimes always looking (sometimes finding ) their mates. Hence the title The Soul's Mark.
Amelie or Millie is 18. She has been visited in her dreams by her soul mate. Unfortunately she only thinks it's a dream, therefore when he shows himself to her -and makes her his own(without her approval) she freaks!! I felt so much emotion. On one hand I thought it was sooo romantic. Think for a moment what it would be like KNOWING your soul mate, Knowing the man you love is destined to be yours. That you could spend eternity with the knowledge that no matter what you had your one true love. But then there's the other hand -the one that says , she's only 18 she's so young. I would rather have seen Millie been older but oh well.

Yes another vampire story, but this one is different. Way different! A young girl gets a scholarship to a college, but things just seem too good to be real. In a sense, she is right but it is nothing her wildest dreams would come up with. Reincarnated, her soulmate has found her. Problem is that he is a vampire and she might be a witch. Oh, and she has no clue about any of this. Take all that and mix in someone after her life and you get a unique and very interesting tale.
It’s not too fast or too slow. It keeps moving along at a good pace though you’ll find yourself wanting to keep reading to find out what the next secret is. The storyline was very well developed with several sub-plots going on. The author did an excellent job of weaving them together and creating a backstory that was brought in throughout the book.
The characters were strong. I do have to admit that I was very frustrated with Mitch. I wanted to slap the daylights out of. At first I wanted to say that his character acted too unrealistic, but the more I read I realized that there are people out there acting like him. Still want to slap him, vampire or not.
I really did enjoy this and can’t wait to read the next one which is now on my wish list. If you like vampire stories and looking for something different, you really need to check this out.

I read the book The Soul's Mark: FOUND for an honest review.
I would like to start off by saying that I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I could not put it down. I love to read about vampires. I thought that this was an innovative approach with vampires, vampires having soulmates. I definitely cannot wait until the next book in the series comes out.
The book is about a shy girl (Amelia) that is just going off to college. Her parents have died 5 years ago; she just recently left the foster care program. Amelia received a full scholarship and with that scholarship, she is hoping for a fresh start on her life. The scholarship includes room & board and she moves into this house which is owned by Mitchell (her soulmate).
Mitchell has been looking for Amelia for over a century and has finally found her and will not let her go by any means necessary.
I thought that Amelia was a strong character. Just because Mitchell was her soulmate, she was not going to follow him around. She fought extremely hard against her fate. I had a love/hate relationship with Mitchell. There were times that I just could not stand what he was doing, but I understood why he was doing what he was doing.
I also totally loved the other characters in the book as well.

Finally, a new take on vampirism. No one sparkles, no one is indestructible, and no one fights a werewolf. And don't get me wrong, I do love my werewolves too, generally more than vampires, but this book has me rethinking that.
I picked this book up this morning and couldn’t put it down until I was finished. I was enthralled by Amelia’s character and couldn’t believe the changes that Mitchell went through in just one book. Not one single character in the book is a cardboard cut-out place holder, but rather, all characters are well developed and can hold their own as real people. As a reader, you come to identify with many characters on a personal level, not just the main characters. They all talk like real people as well. It was refreshing not to have sentences full of colloquialisms or characters who speak like they are defending a thesis at an Ivy League college.
The concept of a soul mate is also taken to a whole new level in this novel. I can’t wait to see how it progresses in the upcoming (or recently published) sequels. I also just cannot wait to read the sequel. Maybe tomorrow....

She receives a scholarship to a University. It comes with all expenses paid and an allowance. She comes to her new situation with high hopes. She is wanting to start over, to not have her past dictate her present.
She finds a gated community with secrets. Danger lurks around the corner. Is her imaginary boyfriend from her dreams real, or does she and Eric have something real in their attraction? Why has she been told not to run alone in the gated community, that it's not safe? All is not as picture perfect as she imagined it to be.
This book is engaging. It is written in a way that captures your attention and imagination. The author moves the pace well, she doesn't reveal too much at once and doesn't hold back on information. It has a secretive and mysterious feel to it.
There is some swearing and pretty intense kissing scenes.

The Soul's Mark: FOUND by Ashley Stoyanoff was a quick, easy and fun read. I'm very glad I had the opportunity to read this book through the We Love YA Books ARR Readers’ Corner. Once I started this story, I had a very difficult time stopping. Books featuring vampires are everywhere lately, but this one gave an interesting twist with the idea of the Soul-mate.
The main character Amelia is very likable and it is interesting to see her struggle between embracing and rejecting her new family of vampires and friends. Mitchell, Amelia's soul-mate, proves to be a great challenge and equal for Amelia while they attempt to make their relationship work despite all the conflicts. Angelle, Luke, Eric, Mabel, Erin and Tyler makeup the well-knit group of family and friends and provide great support during all the struggles. I can't wait for the next book in the series to get more of the characters' histories and see where the story can go.

Okay, where to begin? First off, the writing was wonderful. The details were vivid and the characters were well developed. The story, although about vampires, was unique and refreshing in it's own right. I really liked the world created by Mrs. Stoyanoff and found myself deeply involved from the very beginning. The only thing I would add is that the climactic ending felt rushed and a bit too short and just slightly unresolved, but this wasn't enough to really hurt the overall enjoyment of the story. There were times when I really didn't like Mitch at all and wondered if Amelia would actually fall for him completely, but in the end I liked the way it turned out and came to understand his reasoning for being such a jerk at first. I really liked the character of Eric and hope he will get a happy ending of his own someday. I really look forward to the next book in the series. Great Job Ashley Stoyanoff!!
