Jennifer Kennedy Dean walks you through the Gospel of John, and the seven "I AM" statements of Jesus. Throughout the book, she also relates it back to the Old Testament "signs" of Jesus via the tabernacle. I absolutely loved this book. It gave me a new perspective on my own personal view of Jesus - as always somber and serious, but now with a sense of delight and happiness and joy. Jesus laughed, he smiled, he enjoyed US. I have been reading quite a few Christian books, and I must say this one is at the top of my "must read" list. I have several of Dean's other books on my "want to read" list now!
