An easy story to read to children, which retells the same principles as the boy who cried wolf. I found this story a little mono-tone and didn't have many twists and lacked excitement. I think that's because it was pretty predictable in terms of what was going to happen at the end.

Modern version of "Boys who cried wolf" storyline. Great conversation book about the problem with lying. Toddlers loved it.

Boy who cried wolf retelling.
Beautifully illustrated, I did expect some kind of twist though.

3.5 stars. Millie is the boy who cried wolf of the meerkats. She is bored and keeps crying snake. I liked what the wise old meerkat said, nobody believes a liar, even when they are telling the truth.

This is a modern story about a meerkat called Milly. The storey is based on the classic of the boy who cries wolf.

Milly the Meerkat is a beautifully illustrated book, which is full of bright colours and captures the reader’s imagination.

This book is suitable for children who are 5+ years and can be used by children to read in the reading corner. Alternatively, the book can be used in group discussion during carpet time to discuss the moral of the story.
