In a Nutshell: Still going full-strength! Still recommended as heartily! The subplots are getting deeper now, and the episodes are correspondingly getting longer. This review is for the ENTIRE third season and not specifically for this graphic novel.

NOTE: I'm reading this book on the WEBTOON app, but as Goodreads doesn't have that option, I'll be updating my progress against the graphic novel entries.
The first two graphic novels corresponded with the first two seasons of the webcomic. However, from this book onwards, the paths diverge. This third volume of the graphic novel series is based on episodes 62 to 77 of the webcomic. However, season three ends at episode 106. My review is for the entire third season, so it will go far beyond the content of this graphic novel.
The plot continues from the events of the second season, and should NOT be read as a standalone work. No plot preview, as I don’t want to go into spoilers.
All the feedback I wrote in my review for the two books is valid for this third book as well. The first review highlighted the key themes while the second review spoke of my favourite characters. In this review, I shall focus on some of the special features that elevate the plot from the good to the outstanding.
💖 The core concept of cursed princesses who don’t get a happily ever after, thanks to the spell on them not being broken. Innovative!
💖 The idea of the ‘cursed” princesses being a club for mutual support and independence.
💖 The Easter Eggs that are sprinkled so generously that it is easy to miss a few if you aren’t reading carefully. Even the illustrations contain hidden clues.
💖 The idea of how important self-love is in dealing with confidence issues and mental health struggles.
💖 The twists in the plots that come out of nowhere and yet make so much sense in retrospect.
💖 The subtle jabs at social attitudes, such as how men clamp up at the mention of menstruation or how beauty and brains aren't supposed to go hand in hand.
💖 The female characters, so varied in behaviour. We have the flirt as well as the fighter, the anxious as well as the overconfident, all in perfect harmony. I love how the book uses even supposedly negative female traits and turns them into endearing features.
💖 The tackling of social expectations and beauty standards, which aren't just about those who don't fit into the assumed beautiful mould but also for those who are considered gorgeous.
💖 The way it constantly made me challenge my perceptions, not just of the characters but also of how I viewed them as per earlier fairy tale clichés.
💖 The multitude of arcs, so rare in a graphic novel. In no way can the plot be called straightforward, and yet all the arcs get equal focus and aren’t rushed.
💖 The balance between comedy and seriousness, which creates an excellent way of keeping readers educated as well as entertained.
The series isn’t perfect, of course; no book ever is. But the balance is overwhelmingly tilted towards the positive side. It is after decades that I have read so many comics within three days. But my interest in the book hasn’t diminished at all. This is turning out to be the most fulfilling and eye-opening series.
Still strongly recommended to all, but read the series in the right order.
4.5 stars.
Onto the final season! I am on track so far with my plan of completing all episodes by the 24th before this becomes a daily pass webcomic. However, the episodes are getting much longer in the final season, with many arcs yet to be resolved. Fingers crossed I’ll reach the finish line on time!

This is a series that just makes me happy and gets me in a good mood! The humor is right up my alley and there’s a lot of it throughout the chapters!!
But there are also so many heartfelt and sweet moments almost with every single character… It aids their development, allowing the narrative to unfold in a very satisfactory way. Plus, many themes present in the story, like self love, kindness and friendship, really shine in these moments, in my opinion!
Pairing all this with beautiful heart and a pastel color scheme, you just get a great reading experience, lighthearted and sweet.
I really love this series, I can’t wait to read the next volume, especially since this one ended up on a really good (and concerning) cliffhanger! Also there is a diva lama called Laverne that steals the show, that alone is enough to get anyone to read this series hehehe

La temporada 3 del club de las princesas hechizadas arranca en el episodio 62 y continúa hasta el episodio 106
Amé completamente esta temporada, al igual que las otras dos. Es todo tan LINDO 😍 los personajes son re cute y la historia tiene un montón de giros divertidos. Por más de que en el fondo se base en los cuentos de hadas e historias de princesas siempre pasa algo inesperado y gracioso.
Además de que tiene re lindos mensajes y nos habla de una protagonista que busca el amor propio y mostrarse al mundo como realmente es.

EDIT 4/12/21: The season IS over now, and I think I'm going to bump my original 4 star rating to a 4.5. I'm going to round that 4.5 up to 5 stars up above. It's not perfect, but the season does build to some really exciting moments. Most webtoons can't stay this good and focused this far into their run, so I'm excited for the final season to come.
To be honest, this season is not quite over yet, but we are fairly well into it. I don't want this sitting on my "currently reading" shelf for months and months, so I will come back and update when the season ends if my opinion changes drastically. This series has been fairly even so far, so I don't see that happening. :)
As with the previous two seasons, this series is a cute and fuzzy hug of a story. It's all about learning to love yourself and how to accept yourself and others as they are. There is a mix of serious issues and playfulness. You might tear up and laugh out loud in the same chapter, and I always appreciate that in my comics. The main storylines are all progressing at a good pace, which is great for a webtoon. Usually by this time, a lot of the webtoons I follow have spun out with piles of characters and side plots. That hasn't happened here. There are some new plots explored, but they all feed back into the main story in a way that keeps it all focused, while introducing character growth.
I look forward to reading this one every week and would still recommend to anyone who is interested by the concept.

That's a wrap for the third season! Another wonderful experience.

A lot happens in this installment. There's a new member joining the club, a clandestine mission at a dinner party, and lots more!
In the previous installments, King Jack's controlling measures were swept under the rug followed by unserious protests by the princesses. But they are finally learning to stand up for themselves. They are taking it seriously and making Jack question his methods. As for the Plaid father Leland, I still hate him. He is constantly pitting his sons against each other. While praising Fredrick for the first time ever, he also admonished Blaine. This was a shocker for Blaine who was always used to being praised. All the three Plaid boys' need to please their father and attain his approval ends up souring relations. Fredrick always felt lacking compared to his brothers and never formed the close bond he could have with his brothers. This pushed him to loneliness and low self esteem.
I had thought that Plaid mother was an evil mother in law type, but she's right. Maria fangirls after Blaine but what does she really know about him? Their relationship has been superficial. We don't know much about the older brothers apart from their basic interests. Fred is right to point out one thing. The more you learn about a person, the lesser you feel like you actually know them. There's always more to a person.
Gwen has shown some growth this season. She is learning to love herself but it's still a long way to go. Self love is constant work in progress. I love that she has some great people backing her. Her friends and family appreciate her and I'm glad for it.
It's no longer just a story about growth. There are certain mysteries and adventures that need to take place. Looking forward to it in the next season!

When Prince Leopold tries to become better friends with Princess Gwendolyn, Gwen still feels self doubt and asks for help from her friends and family as well as her friends in the Cursed Princess club. Will they be able to help her and will Frederick gain up the courage to be a better friend to Gwen and maybe more than that? Read on and find out for yourself.

Things are starting to get more interesting, but the pace is also a tad uneven. I wouldn't say there's filler, just that the plot meanders rather than feeling tightly laid out. Hopefully we get a volume 4 soon.

Jamie is wholesome, learning how to accept yourself is wholesome, I love Gwenn, I want to give Fredrick a hug and I really love how Blaine and Lance get along with Maria and Lorena

I absolutely love the characters' dynamics - the development of their relationships and everything we're revealing as the story unravels.

Well that was an interesting way to leave a cliffhanger. I am curious as to how Jamie can be a food critic and eat so much. By the way, I loved the way he messed with the Palace Portrait Artist, that made me laugh so hard. Gwen and Frederick are adorable, I can't wait to see what happens with them. I do recommend this series if you haven't already deep dived into it.

oh my gosh yes. that last episode was perfection hahaha. THEY ARE TOO CUTE and wholesome.

What a rollercoaster ride, looks Gwen & Frederick getting along well. My favourite part when my fav cursed princess club, first time interact with Frederick 😂😂(I laugh so hard) & invited to Gwen's palace - secretly to find secrets about the king n Gwen's mom backstory. Didn't expect the king portrait so young n I mistook as Gwen's mom because of her beauty 😳. Prez's fiance appeared n got cursed by his brother, he redeem himself to apologize to prez in the past. Julie's backstory - is interesting : about what happened to her eyes. Headed to season 4.
