Read this for research.

Good explanations for kids of how wakeboarding works, and the equipment required for it. Good photos, too ... except that I was struck while reading it that of the nine riders pictured in the first two chapters (which covered all the how-to's of wakeboarding), exactly zero were women. There IS a woman pictured on the cover, but it felt wrong to omit any women whatsoever in the chapters that described how to wakeboard. Chapter 3, which talked about top riders, had 2 women and 2 men. But it felt too little, too late. And girls notice these things.
