Cobs is a rejected spider living alone in his forest. That is until he is called forth by the god in the sky to care for a small creature with incredible abilities.
With the help of his old friend Benjamin, they go in search of answers and of a way to save the creatures of the forest from the Sickness that plagues it.
But to fulfil his task, he must return to Spider Cave. A place where all the spiders live, and where Cobs is not welcome.

Cobs is a fantastical tale of a spider that has been tasked with protecting a New Born without knowing why. I recommend this story to teens who still love to read stories like James and the Giant Peach, or Fantastic Mr Fox, or to parents and teachers who still read to their 10-12 year olds.
