Maybe the closest thing to a good Deadpool book I've read in a while, but still falls way short of being worth it.
Gischler really gets the tone right, moving pot forward and peppering in jokes, rather than coming up with idiotic scenarios that undercut the characters like most other Pool writers.
Unfortunately, that plot is really garbled and boring this time around. Nothing leads organically into the next thing, feeling more like a stream of consciousness than anything else. Not a well-defined one, either.
Also THE SEXISM. Holy shit, man. Gischler was nowhere near this bad before. Whereas before he wrote in scantily-clad women, at least they had personalities. Now those same women are back and essentially just empty vessels refilled with man-desire. They will do anything for a man and exist for no other reason than his pleasure, even if he is a disgusting monster like Deadpool. It felt REALLY backwards, particularly accompanied by Rob Liefeld trademark shitstain artwork.
So, while I had high hopes for Corps based on the first volume, I think it's safe to toss this one. Glad it got canceled!

This is kind of a story that didn't really have to be told. Or rather, a kind of plot outline with vague stuff. There was also barely a connection to any of the characters (Kidpool, Headpool, and Dogpool could easily have been absented.) And there was a wee little bit of Deadpool character but it could have been virtually anyone who was kind of a jerk and out for money.
There was nothing offensive about this (except that it was meant to cash in Deadpool's popularity.

Nowhere near as good as the first volume - filled with sexism, a random story that meanders between what's happening 'now' and flashback, and just not that fun. To me, Wade was also out of character here too - caring more about the money/screwing over an oppressed people than caring about helping them fight against the colonial force oppressing them.

Some say the art is too bright and Liefeld should lay off the drawing but I saw nothing wrong with it.
The ridiculous plot and dialogue kept this fantastic comic book roiling with with hilarity.
Lady Deadpool especially.

WTF!!!??? This was a total waste of my time. It was all I could do to get through it and after a while i stopped reading. I am not a fan of deadpool so I don't know what I was thinking. This was AWFUL!!

This is insane. It's also the 100th thing I've read thing year. The ending was sad for a brief moment and then not. Deadpool has quickly made his way to the top of my superhero list.

April 27, 2016This book/comic is one of the best I have ever read it is hilarious. This book takes you through the world of the “Deadpool Corps”, even if you don't know who deadpool is you will love this story. You sometimes even feel like you're in the story yourself. If you hate reading like I do, but you love action/adventure movies you may want to read it it is mostly action the entire way through.
This book is the most strange, most questionable, and most intriguing book I have ever read, and that’s coming from the 16 year old boy of the 21rst century that hates to read anything including street signs. Reading this book was the first time I was able to read a book without being forced to and I actually enjoyed it. Granted most people don't consider a comic book a book by I say “For one book is directly in the name COMIC BOOK, and for to if it is longer than five pages it falls in the book category.” In my opinion if you enjoy reading it than so what read it. And trust me you will very much enjoy this book. Even for me this book was hard to put down it just sucks you in and holds you hostage.If you don't believe me then just try it for yourself and you will know for yourself that it's a great read.

Best Deadpool story I read so far. But as with most comics a read I find the charachters more interesting than the story itself.
As far as I am concerned this is Deadpool at his best though I would have liked to see more of Dogpool.

Not as funny as the first one, but still a blast. Watching the Deadpools help a world economically develop in order to steal a ton of gold is awesome, and what happens after is even better.

Similar to the first volume - a few flaws and nothing mind-blowing but a solidly fun read all around.
