This was a lucky find from a Little Free Library. Wish now that I had kept it.
O.R.P. are the initials of the main character, whose first name is Orville, and he starts a club called the "I Hate My Name Club". Very entertaining read and great characters.
One thing I especially enjoyed about this is that it was written around the time I was in junior high myself, and there are so many details that those of us who are Gen X will remember from our childhoods, but where modern kids would be like, "What? Why did they do that?"
For instance, he uses a typewriter to make fliers for his club and then pins them on bulletin boards around town- yeah, no internet, but plenty of resourcefulness : )
I recommend the whole series, but they are a bit hard to find.
