I would recommend this book to anyone who likes books about the outdoors. It is filled with interesting details that keep you wondering if the boys will get away. My favorite part of this book is when Hal steals a bus to help Moon and Kit escape from the Pinson Boys Home. He steals it and then drives them to the forest where they live like Moon and his father once did. This was a great book and I'm glad I chose to read it.
This book is about a boy named Moon who was raised in the wilderness with his Pap. His Pap did not like the government and wanted nothing to do with anyone. However, when his Pap dies Moon has to learn how to navigate the world on his own. He encounters trouble along the way, makes friends and suffers loss.
