About the author

Marie Clements (born January 10, 1962) is a Métis playwright, performer, director, producer and screenwriter. Marie was founding artistic director of urban ink productions, and is currently co-artistic director of red diva projects, and director of her new film company Working Pajama Lab Entertainment. Clements lives on Galiano Island, British Columbia. As a writer Marie has worked in a variety of mediums including theatre, performance, film, multi-media, radio, and television.

NOTE: age of iron isn't listed on goodreads but it is included in this anthology! these are my thoughts on age of iron and not the anthology as a whole.

this play explores so, so many important themes and i have no doubt that seeing it onstage would be a powerful experience. just reading it as a script, however, i genuinely had no idea what was going on in many scenes and i can't imagine what an unassuming audience member would have to do to be able to follow the story.
