Lighting for Interior Design

Rate this book
Without light, interior architecture cannot be fully designed and experienced. It is one of the key tools for an interior designer, but can be a dauntingly technical subject for students. This book takes a detailed, practical look at lighting in interior design, giving students all the key information and skills they need to be able to tackle lighting successfully in their designs.

I didn't feel I had much knowledge after reading this book. It wasn't bad but I felt my knowledge of lighting was still poor and definitely felt insufficient to light a space.
Instead, I've just discovered that there is a lot of incredible lighting knowledge on books about filmmaking and photography. And you then bring back this knowledge to interior design.

A great read during my internship as a lighting designer. I learned almost more from this book from my actual boss- good compliment for the book… but I don’t know what that says about the company…
