Really beautiful, but moved a bit too fast after the queen's forgetting. How did Yasmin know some of the queen's history? How did they assemble the scents so quickly? I also feel like this would have done fantastically as a longer middle grade novel.

An excellent read on the power of scent and the need to remember. Eight year old girl read it alone and declared it a great book.

A wonderful story that praises talent wherever or in whomever is found. The illustrations are playful and sly.
