It’s hard to know what to think about this work. While some of the comments the author makes about “feeding” spirits seem silly (e.g. “Keep the water covered if you don’t want to reward it...”. If things are spirit, then they are immaterial. How exactly do you you block the immaterial with, or from something material?). This being said, the author provides some comments about not knowing certain things, or being able to accomplish them, both of which tend to hint at honesty (Liars usually overly-aggrandize their skill, and certainly never admit weakness/ineptitude). Also, the comment about the use of literal “bowls” to divine, brings to memory the bowl in scripture used by Joseph for the same purpose; something which the author doesn’t seem to notice.
Read for research for my book! But side note I’m fully convinced the author of this book is experiencing psychosis ‘it’s perfectly normal to hear lots of annoying spirits voices, it’s just like ignoring a loud guest at a dinner party’ dude that’s me unmedicated 😭
Dzisiejszy dzień jak co roku wiąże się z pamięcią o naszych zmarłych przodkach. Jak sądzę dla większości praktyków nekromancji ta pozycja będzie podstawą lub inspiracją do działań magicznych. Autor przedstawia historię i podstawowe prace nekromantyczne. Polecam tą pozycję zarówno dla osób interesujących się tą ścieżką (wcześniej z nią niezwiązanych) oraz początkujących praktyków. (Dodam jeszcze że zawsze przy pracach magicznych należy pamiętać o ochronie i należytym przygotowaniu) M. --- Today, like in every year, is associated with the memory of our deceased ancestors. For most necromancy practitioners, I believe this item will be the basis or inspiration for magical activities. The author presents the history and basic necromantic works. I recommend this position both for people interested in this path (previously not related to it) and for beginners. (I would like to add that you should always remember about protection and proper preparation when working on magic) M.
He repeated himself over and over again about things that he explained in the previous chapters . I feel that most of these paragraphs are just repetition's of the previous paragraph . I like the book and has somewhat good insight but I can tell that this author is extremely repetitive and doesn’t really have any new insight after the first few paragraphs . By the way , the new insights you will receive from this book are basically mottos that you can find in more useful books . Disappointed but I learned something . Not a complete waste of time if you choose just to read up to chapter 2 .
The author lays out a clear and specific method of working with spirits. However, readers who do not like prescriptive tones in writing may not like this text. That said, it provided a no nonsense, practical and direct look into what is actually required (ex. time, space) in creating a dedicated practice like this.
As a reader, I benefitted from the general information in this book as well as specific information about space, workings, and time commitments. Altogether, this allowed me to assess if such a practice would be appropriate for this time in my life or not.
Offers amazing insights into how to deal with spirits - even if you aren't a necromancer. I understand this book keeps warning about not reading the material until some conditions are met (and I haven't met all those conditions) - but even then, this book offers information that are crucial and insightful for any sorcerer-in-training.
o autor se repetiu muito, mas, sem o devido desenvolvimento psíquico não há como colocar em prática o que ele propõe no trabalho com espíritos. Esse livro é bem introdutório, mas não recomendo que ele seja utilizado como guia nessas práticas.
