A neat book. Poland to me has been old World War II or Communist domination time of Poland. It is black and white and usually involved with war or some type of tyranny. The areas bordering Poland are the Baltic Sea including the Gulf of Gdansk, Kaliningrad, Russia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Germany. The Bialowieza Forest has a lot of trees for lumber and also many wild animals like the wisent, a type of buffalo, as well as the hoopoe, a beautiful and unusual bird. Most of the Poles are Catholic and a recent pope came from Poland.
