A collection of gruesome mountain lion attacks is briefly presented along with information about the puma and tips about how to survive an attack.
Graphic and often gruesome images serve to emphasize the information found in the text of this little book about mountain lions and how often they attack humans. As well, there is a brief presentation of techniques that should be used to survive these attacks. Small sidebars present relevant, supporting information. While the topic and gruesome illustrations will be quite appealing to youngsters, school librarians will need to be careful to whom they loak this book, as it is so graphic.
