Clinical Physiology of Acid-Base and Electrolyte Disorders (Clinical Physiology of Acid Base & Electrolyte Disorders) by Rose, Burton, Post, Theodore (2000) Paperback
I first started reading chapters of this book as a 4th year medical student when I was working with a wonderful Nephrologist at MMC. It’s one of the main reasons I became a nephrologist. Well fast forward to the last 2 years and I have read the whole thing cover to cover and made lectures out of each of the 28 chapters for my fellows. The best thing about this book is how it repeats. This isn’t the type of stuff you read once and remember forever. Plus, it doesn’t shy away from equations and math. There are some physicians who really like that stuff! Such a classic.
