Dare, newly reincarnated on Collisa from Earth, and his goblin lover Zuri have left the small village of Lone Ox behind in search of adventure and leveling opportunities.

Their travels take them through Kovana, which while considered a settled region becomes wilder the farther north they go, towards the frontier region of Bastion and the kingdom's border. It still holds plenty of danger, though, untamed wilds where they'll have opportunities to face new challenges.

And meet new friends who might join them on their adventures, or possibly even become something more than just traveling companions.

Be Kovana is part of a harem series and includes explicit romantic scenes. It is intended for adults.

2.5 stars; MC is a fucking imbecile. His women tell him what they want, but like so many MCs with "modern" sensibilities, he is incapable of accepting that a woman can know what SHE wants. Since the women know this, and tell him repeatedly in no uncertain terms, he deserves whatever misfortune accrues.

However, stupid MCs put me off, and this was nearly unreadable in parts due to his virtue signalling. The goddess told him the place was brutal, and he references that repeatedly so he's at least aware that he's not in 21st century (Western) Earth. A cursory understanding of human history would make one aware that slavery in one form or another is a feature of pretty much every culture we have record of.

In short, he should be an actual man, do his best version of "do what the Romans do", collect a bunch of hot, capable women, and bang them if they want it, without triplicate consent. THAT is the book I want this to be. If Book 3 doesn't come out the gate stronger than this it'll be a DNF.

The beta cuckery and virtue signaling got really old fast. Fiction/fantasy used to be a genre where alternate ways of civilizations and behavior could be explored. But this book, like much of the stuff I've read in the past year or two all seem stuck in this triple consent "are you really really really really sure you want to we don't have to I'll go away and never look at you again if you don't want me because I'm worthless and weak and don't deserve to look at you" whimp drivel. Where are the strong, or at least different, male leads? I had high hopes for this series in the first book with the slime girls (yeah, a little weird, but at least different) and the farmer's wife. Dare's behavior lacks passion and turns him into a dull leading man. I got to the point at 47% where I just didn't care about him or his story any more and decided to put this story down as a DNF.

confused

Dropped this after chapter 2. Very strange discussion about slavery which seemed to not be formatted correctly. Also at this point I was struggling to stay interested after Ilin left the party.

In this book Dare and Zuri come across a dog-woman named Pella. She has all of the characteristics that you would expect from a woman dog cross breed. She is loyal and very devoted to her master and his family. Unfortunately while she and her previous master were out leveling, he died and she for four years couldn't bring herself to leave his grave which she has tended. She sees something in Dare that give her the strength to leave and join his group and ultimately his harem. She is pictured on the cover.
Once again understand that this is not only a harem book, but Dare has stated one of his goals is to sleep with as many different monster girls as possible. The women of his harem are not only okay with this but also encourage him. This also being a mans fantasy, Dare has incredible stamina and is able to have sex for hours, climax multiple times and wear out multiple women. Not every woman is allowed to join his harem. Also Dare has some modern earth ideas that every woman must be free to choose to have sex with him regardless of their nature, upbringing, or societal norms. This creates multiple instances of drama in the relationships.

Pretty good, but slightly disappointing

Overall the stuff is good, the harem is good, etc. The only thing that's disappointing is the introduction of fun characters like the mermaid and the catgirl who the mc has a grand time with and then they're gone. That's pretty unusual for this genre and it sucks because I really like the catgirl character here, yet the author made them out to be very free spirited and will jump from lover to lover, so not harem material.

Dislike the Relationships

It’s just not for me. The second member of the harem talks about her old master almost more than the MC, including how she used to give the old master tongue baths. In a novel where the MC is very clearly a self-insert, I don’t want to read about the love interests licking old men’s butt cracks lol. I’ll stop here. Had potential.

Still going strong!

Just as good as the first. There was one part where the MC frustrated me, around the dog girl joining the group, but it was over pretty quick. Overall, I enjoyed this one just as much as the first. No huge plot movement, just enjoyable advancement.
Pick it up!

Fun Series

I'm enjoying this story of Dare and his growing group. The way they are leveling up and adventuring is interesting and keeps you turning pages. The spicy bits are enjoyable as well. On to book 3!

Ugh..

The pictures are a great feature, but the MC is extremely pathetic and simp, and not nearly as smart or clever as the author thinks
