Errata-data: The Working of an American Jester

Rate this book
The purpose of this book is to cast a little light, add a bit more color, a dash of salt {some what more than a grain} on or to the information you already received and processed regarding some current or historic event. Why? We have mind sets, we have all been there, if you will, pictures stored for viewing, you know, within the inner or outer most reaches of our mind, depending on which continent we reside. It is the function of memory. Received and processed! We see, we hear, we take it for our own. Some things need to be shaken down some so they can settle in, others are in need of one or more of the above, cast a little light...et cetera. Each quirk, yes that's right, quirk, if you will, can be added to your own erratum to historic events. The mind set, or perspective changes with additional information we receive, if we allow it. The impact of the event as it truly happened can not change, and there you have it, the workings of a Jester! This being so, it must be understood, a Jester is granted poetic license to expound on and up to the boundaries of argumentation, he does not establish himself as an expert on everything or anything, a claim which is not aspired to. She is allowed a broader range of approach to any subject. They offer their audience a choice, knowing not to impose upon them, at least not to the point of disruption, so they both may continue happily on their way. A Jester can be more of an exponent of the truth in news and history than an accuser of a country, politician or whatever, more a poet than a philosopher, more rhetorical than pretentious and then not than, quick as three blinks, to say what it thinks! A comedian will work for the laugh, a Jester needs but a smile!
