Loved this series of books as a kid. The art is very whimsical with a succinct telling of a classic story. This was one of my favorites & I had to get this for my son's Christmas book collection. Makes me crave a Disneyland gingerbread man.

I like this book, but I don't like it how every story about any kind of human food are too dramatic for kids. The ending is too dramatic for kids. I would like to have a nice and friendly ending.
