I would use this straightforward text with my adult learners. This book wasn’t as graphic as some of the others in the same series.

Book review Dive
This book is about a newspaper and he decided to sign up for Scuba diving as a birthday gift. Every saturday he went to class and learned how to scuba dive. He saw lots of people in his class and then the teacher came. His name was Joe. He talked about how to dive, swim and share tanks with each other. Franco said “did you ever see sharks before’’. What I liked was how they dived into the ocean and saw everything underwater. Especially when Franco found a sunken ship and a big, beautiful reef beside it. When Franco went to the sunken ship it and the a big hole in it and he went to see it and then a black and pink arm grabbed him by the leg. He took out his knife and stabbed the giant squid in the eye and franco swim as fast he can. He went to the hotel. Then he told all his friends about what happen. That how he saw a sunken old ship underwater and there was a hole in the ship and he went inside it. Then he found out something grabbed him by the leg and it was a giant squid nest inside the old ship. Franco said “ then i took out my knife and stabbed the giant squid in the eye and swim as fast as i can”!. Diving is hard. And scary at same time.

The book I read is dive by mary kate doman. I think that dive is a good read for all ages because the writing has words that won't confuse anyone and dive is a short but adventure packed book. About a little boy with big dreams to join scuba diving lessons. I really liked dive because it is about the sea and scuba diving lessons I have always wanted to try scuba diving. I would suggest if you are like me and don't really like reading to read dive I don't really like reading but I loved dive. Dive is a really good book if you like adventure. Dive is a short and fun book to read I really like reading dive because thee book is a good book to read before bed. For teachers looking for a book to read with ant grade class I would pick dive because dive has adventure animals some learning experiences and lots more. Dive was a really good book for our book talks and I hope you guys will like dive too I loved dive. The books message is if you have a dream follow it and you might just end up a hero..

This is a Hi/Lo book that is written in short direct sentence. As an avid reader, I found this style to be annoying; however, lower level readers may need this style in order to comprehend the text.
