I liked the spookiness of this book. A good Halloween time book. The sharp edges of the illustrations added to the spooky element of the book. The pop ups were the best part! It brought me back to my childhood when pop ups and what all went into making one, fascinated me.
As usual, the pop-up art is stunning, the story is almost non-existent. And, in this case, annoying because the sentences don't even finish on the page. But you want to stay on the page and play with the pop-ups.
Oh, and my twins liked that there was a pair of troublemaking twins in the book.
