Informative and well written. This book provides young readers with the essentials of the stories of the Gods and then relates them to Hera, the Queen of the Gods. Nicely illustrated and laid out. A great gift for an inquiring mind.

I happened across this thing quite accidentally, so I had no idea what I could expect from it. Had I knew the target audience I certainly wouldn't have read it, but oh well. For what it is meant to be, it is... adequate, I suppose, though honestly I'm glad my introduction to Greek mythology as a child was through more engaging and less juvenile retellings.

This is a newly published series on the ancient gods/heroes. Really well done! We'll be revisiting this when we study Ancient Greece on the next pass.
