It was a Pitman 1950 book
that later got famous as a 1966 Dover book.
and well only the introduction is new!

I think the last game annotated was 1947

I've seen one review where they said it was a brilliant book that 'became the model for most chess writing for 50 plus years', which I'm no sure about.

---

Maybe it was the first book not written by Reinfeld or Horowitz back in the 50s which were largely mediocre. Though i think some of their books weren't that bad as how some remember it.

Korn is unusual for being the Editor of Modern Chess Openings - 7th Edition to the 12th Edition

Yet there are no records of him playing in any chess tournaments!

---

He went from Prague to London in 1939, Moved to Detroit in 1950.
Died in the 1990s in San Mateo, California
