So I picked up this book because I wanted help in Sales. About once a month, I am a participating author at a book festival or author event and I have absolutely no idea how to sell my books to all those guests who attend. So I wanted to read up on what a good Salesman looks like. I liked how Michael Pink used Bible verses and scriptures to prove his point on selling with honesty and integrity. He gave wonderful examples of sales gone wrong and sales done right! He focused on "good soil" and finding the right customer and the steps to take on a sales meeting. There was some redundancy as he proved his points. Miacheal emphasizes knowing your product, understanding the client's needs and when to walk away from a sales opportunity. For anyone who wants to know more about Sales and what it takes to succeed in sales using Biblical Principles, then this is the book for you!

This is one of the best books I've read on the Sales Professional and the Process. Its focus is scriptural principles for succeeding in sales. Using the 10 Commandments as the basis, author Michael Pink brings insights into what motivates people to do what they do. He connects God's understanding of how He's made people - you and me -- with what they want in their life. Ultimately helping the professional sales person to discover how they can help their clients because they understand what the client is actually wanting/needing from them.

The basics of being a professional in the business world are covered along with insight and wisdom for not becoming a hardened sales person, but a wise salesman. Salesmanship is something that is not to be distained, but there is a professionalism that if done well is admired by everyone and embraces integrity, honor as well as great skill. Done well, people WANT TO use you, have you help them make decisions. Helping me have the proper focus. An awesome read.

Selling from a Biblical perspective. Great book in that you will find unique and fresh ideas. Unlike all the thousands of other "How to Sell" books that regurgitate what has already been said a thousand times. Well written. This book brings to the forefront the importance of ethics. Shows the power in being honest and how integrity will get you farther than low price.

This book is great for new sales people without sales skills. For me it was far to basic. Seeing the relationship between selling tips and biblical passages is limited or streched in several cases.
