Read this with our church newly married group and we took away so many practical handholds & it led to so many great convos. This will be a book we hold onto & refer back to through the years! It includes bible scripture as well as science/psychology studies about communication and relationships. It was unique to see the two intertwined. Only thing is it reads a bit like a text book - so it’s best in small chunks!

Had so many great convos reading this. Gives so many practical tips for conflict and decision making that are so helpful. Walked us through ways to voice our expectations that we didn’t even realize we had from our different upbringing and how those expectations affect our relationship currently and how to have a better marriage based on them!

Book #2 for our church’s newly married group and it sparked great conversations. Weaved together biblical scripture with research on communication and relationships. Great when digested and discussed in small chunks. Offered so many helpful, practical tips for conflict resolution and decision-making within marriage.
