Folklore horrors smashing through our 21st century denials of the supernatural.... Not even the bright lights in a call center office can fend them off.... 😁

Gripping Thriller Book

Nightjar's consists of 8 horror short stories that will intrigue, frighten, and will make you ask for more.

First of all, I wanted to thank the author kuya Jahric for providing me a copy of Nightjar, it was so really nice of you🥰. But readers, please note that this doesn't affect my review, what you see is purely my thoughts about the book.

Reading through, I notice that most of the creatures are based on the famous mythical creatures here in the Phillipines, and I find it nostalgic because when I was young my grandma used to tell me stories about it. But some creatures are not familiar, so I think it's from the creative mind of the author, and it's very clever and original. If you like watching Shake, Rattle & Roll, this is a must read for you. What I love about this book is it doesn't just scare the hell out of you, but it also gives pieces of reality that which adds up giving life to the book. Overall, I love it and I'm manifesting for more thrillers from the same author.🤞

"Nightjar" by Jahric Lago is a collection of eight dark fantasy tales that left me breathless with fear and excitement. Each story is filled with horrifying monsters and shocking twists that kept me on edge throughout. From a family trapped with a vicious beast to friends encountering a malevolent mermaid, the tales are both thrilling and chilling.

Reading "Nightjar" made me feel like I was exploring a world where darkness reigns and unexpected terrors lurk around every corner. Lago's storytelling is vivid and gripping, drawing me into each tale with its eerie atmosphere and intense suspense. The characters' struggles against supernatural forces and their own fears resonated deeply with me, making each story a compelling journey into the unknown.

If you enjoy stories that blend terror, mystery, and fantasy, "Nightjar" is a book that will haunt your thoughts long after you finish reading. It's a testament to Lago's skill in weaving tales of horror that leave a lasting impression. Brace yourself and dive into the darkness—it's a night you won't soon forget.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙟𝙖𝙧 is Jahric Lago first ever collection of terrifying fantasy tales filled with horror and monsters. The book is composed of eight distinct dark fantasy stories that will shock and frighten you with their unexpected turns of events and story twists 💀👻

You know what amaze me? Is that, it’s about fantasies but it gives me real life lesson and realization. There are many distinct monsters mentioned in the story but you know I realize that mas nakakatakot parin ang mga tao. Theirs a part in the story that makes me realize that “Humans are the Real Monster” and I agree.👻⭐️✨

The book is a rollercoaster coaster ride. Thrilling, exhilarating, freeing and fun. I love that it captures Filipino Mythological creatures. I also like that the author takes the angle that enemies are not always the monsters. Sometimes it's us, humans. Give this book a read!! 🥰
