In a misguided attempt at house unity after the war, Hogwarts has decided to start doing a student exchange program between the houses. For the pilot of this program, one male and one female student from each house will spend the Fall Term in a different house to experience new things and better understand their fellow students.
Hermione Granger is looking for an escape hatch. Draco Malfoy is looking for forgiveness. The exchange program is just what they need.

Cute, I loved how the Slytherins all came to Hermione's aide in this one. I am a lover of good Ron bashing. I enjoyed the Fred and Hermione background quite a bit as well. I loved Hermione and Draco's relationship in the one. I loved how affection it Draco was, made me cry I some spots. Got a bit boring after a while though.

I'm not quite sure what to say about this book. If you don't like Ron bashing, don't read it. I for one am fine with a good bit of Ron bashing. I loved how affectionate Draco was, and Theo made me cry 😭 This was fun, but nothing amazing, and I got a little bored near the end.
I enjoyed this one. The smut was good but the Slytherin banter was better. Theo was absolutely wonderful in this as was Charlie Weasley. The real star of course was a kind and nervous and loving Draco who shone. This was a tough story due to the physical abuse aspect (not Draco perpetrated) but overall very enjoyable. I liked that there wasn’t unnecessary filler words or storylines. It was strictly about Hermione and Draco and what they were going through with a little help from their friends. 3.5 stars rounded up
I love Ron bashing-even to this degree- but Hermione kinda annoyed me. I needed more from her character. She was strong, amazing, beautiful- most people supported her and reminded her that she was strong, amazing, and beautiful. But I needed more depth than just she left so she’s strong. I think this story could’ve been remarkably better if it explored the time she was with Ron. I just needed more cause this fic was kinda blah and a portrayal of what someone thinks abuse looks like based off bad afternoon specials. I did love that she lost her virginity to Fred. So one star for that.

Ok so this worked but it also didn't, I liked the vibe that it went for in the beginning. I do have to say if your not a fan of Ron bashing then don't bother with this fic.
I really have a fuming hate for abusers but it kinda worked in this fic I guess but it really wasn't my cup of tea. So I read it, liked it, got bored at the end and was content with the fact that I finished it.
A quick and light read, liked it and enjoyed the plot that actually had a very valid point which is abuse, and pretty much liked the way the author Handled the whole situation, and of course the Slytherin gang stole the spotlight as always. and to no one amusement Ron is a piece of sh*t and we don't like him.
I reallyyyyy enjoyed the writing in this one, especially in the beginning. The thought poured into every sentence was very clear. Plot wise tho not much happens, I don't want to say boring but it was a bit lacking in that part. And yes the discussions about obvious themes in the book were true but felt a bit to much like a lecture than regular conversations.
I enjoyed the concept of "exchanging" houses very much! And I honestly wonder why has nobody ever thought about this in the original series. It was weird to see one of the main characters in such a different setup, but I think the story was beautifully written.
Dnf at 30%. I don’t mind characters being a lil OOC in fics but this was to the point where it was ridiculous and took all the fun out of the ship. Also this was boring. The only thing I liked was the house exchange concept but somehow even that was done in the most boring way possible
DNF'd at 17%. 8th year with Hermione dealing with more than trauma from war. Domestic violence was too much for me to read a this time. May revisit later.
Was a beautiful story, felt a bit rushed with how much was going on in the 4 month span. But other than that it was very well written and the descriptions and analogies were beautiful
