Gospel Issues for the Global Church introduces eight global issues that significantly impact gospel proclamation today. The global church and its leaders will be better equipped to advance the gospel in their local context through effective appropriation of these issues. The issues the Movement and Migration of Peoples; Faith and the Workplace; Creation Care; Disability Concerns; Mental Health and Trauma; Media and Technology; Wealth Creation; and the Arts. Drawing on episodes of the Lausanne Global Classroom which the author directs, each issue is examined historically, biblically, and theologically, and includes inspirational examples. How each impacts the global church, evangelism, and discipleship efforts are discussed. Additionally, the book offers suggestions for ways the church can engage each issue in its work as faithful stewards of resources. Gospel Issues for the Global Church helps local churches, missionaries, pastors, teachers, students, and curious individuals to learn about and discuss innovative ways to advance the gospel message globally, and find ways to access resources in their local context for this endeavor. Exploring these important issues will result in readers becoming better able to engage the world with the good news of Jesus Christ in the variety of areas these issues address.
