A great insight on black and white photography and the various film and digital techniques used. It really opened my eyes up to the composition, tonality and styles used in this form of photography and certainly has inspired me to experiment more with some of the techniques and styles described. A wonderful introduction to this art form.

The photos explain clearly the point of view of the author.
I would like less of the art of painting.
