Fiona Beddall has taught EFL to a variety of age groups in France, Spain and the UK, and has fifteen years’ experience as a writer and editor of teaching materials. She has written a number of teacher’s resource books and activity books. She also has a long-standing interest in graded readers, and has written and adapted several for the Penguin Readers series, including Alexander the Great, A History of Britain and The Odyssey.

This book is about Mr.Bean who loves the British queen so much and he also loves Buckingham Palace. One day he received his picture of the queen and a video of the queen. The video was about the queen who is looking at her new colours of her walls. The queen said the she loves yellow and green wall, so Mr.bean paints his home from brown to green and yellow and decorated it as Buckingham Palace. Later, people thought that it is the Palace. More people came and Mr.Bean was sick of it. Later that night Mr.Bean continued watching the video and the queen said that brown walls are beautiful and she want it ! So Mr.Bean painted it again and think that brown is the colour that makes him feel comfortable and that's what both Mr.Bean and the queen likes !
I think this is a really good book for entertaining as it is very funny. Plus, this book is in comic form, it combines pictures with words so it is easier to read and I love it !
