Surprisingly delighted by this find (my attention was caught when I read that the hero was a dragon shifter). Lovely story, the mountain lion was such a delightful secondary character. Anyone who likes romantic fantasy would like this (heavy on the romance). The chemistry btwn the hero/heroine is yummy!

Summer Athea, young, sheltered child psychologist, never thought that she’d be thrown into a dragon shifter war, and certainly not with the dangerously attractive Slade Stryker. And never did she suspect that her fear-filled body held the magic power of healing.
Slade had other things on his mind, like protecting his ailing ruler and solving mysterious homicides in the human community he serves as Police Detective, yet Summer manages to get under his skin and his scales.
Readers who fell in love with Kari’s cat-shifters won’t be disappointed by this book. Kari Thomas has created a world of shifters filled with fast-paced romance and intrigue where no one is who they first seem. I think this is Ms. Thomas’s best book so far.
