About the author

As a native of Colorado, I love all that this state has to offer, from the breathtaking heights of Pikes Peak to the eastern plains. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else!

I live in Littleton, Colorado with my two amazing kids, Megan and Matthew. All of my family live very close by (my sister is only .25 miles from my house!) and we are a very close knit family. My mom is one of the biggest influences in my life and has been my life preserver when things haven't been so easy.

My divorce was rough, but it gave me a new perspective on life - never take anyone or anything for granted. As much as you think your plans are etched in stone, one stick of dynamite and it all blows up!
