Tiddles is a suave, carefree kitty cat whose only pleasures in life are eating mice, wooing the ladies, and being generally apathetic toward his owner, Jake. But when a toxic spill occurs outside of town, Tiddles finds himself savagely attacked by a nasty-looking radioactive field mouse, and he wakes up as one of the undead. However, he still retains a bit of compassion and refrains for now from zombie Bacchanalian delights, such as eating living beings brains Umm . . . any brains at all However, Tiddles, a.k.a. Zombie Cat, is decomposing rapidly and would prefer to live a normal life in the zombie apocalypse with his owner, Jake. But will Jake take in his former cuddly pet or will ZC be doomed to roam the streets trying to avoid the inevitable pull of his undead yearnings? Zombie Cat is a humorous adult picture book in the vein of Pat the Zombie and Ten Little Zombies: A Love Story. Isabel Atherton 's quirky storytelling combined with Bethany Straker 's captivating (and slightly grotesque ) illustrations make this the perfect addition to any Halloween collection. It 's the ideal gift for any crazed zombie fanatic or equally crazed cat lover.

SO Tiddles the cat is a huge feline whore with all the female felines. He goes and gets a snack but gets bitten by his snack, a mouse. Tiddles now becomes Zombie Cat, or ZC. He starts falling apart in a nasty manner, losing his eye, his good legs, his insides hanging out, and all this time he starts to crave braaiiiiiiins. YUM! This is how he looks as he heads home to find his master.
Jake, ZC's master, is a lone survivor. He hears his former Tiddles meowing away and Tiddles paws the door so much that his paw comes off. Soon Jake grabs the unliving creature and sews him up. Tiddles was a great companion when he was alive, surely he must be in his afterlife?? Tiddles and Jake survive 38 days during which they practice a lot of "Thriller" dance moves. But ZC can't stave off from eating brains for long...can he?
Enjoyed this so much! VERY quick read. Illustrations were gruesome and the best about this book. Liked the happily never after. I knew he couldn't stay vegan forever.

Kiire lugemine rmtpoes (ca 5min). Loed rmt ühe korra läbi ja kõik. Midagi erilist rmt kirjas polnud.

Super cute book about a zombie cat. I was sold on this one when my sister-in-law sent it to me. It's totally up my alley and would recommend reading this book to all furbabies (new, old, and zombiefied!)
Oh, Zombie Cat. What kind of mischief are you getting into? The decomposing kitty just wants a little love and affection...and brains. Is that so much to ask? Zombie Cat is done in the style of a children's book, but I don't know if you'd really want to share it with your kids. It tells the story of Tiddles, a suave cat that wanted nothing more than to chase mice, lounge around, and chat up the lady cats. Everything changed when the local nuclear power plant had a spill. Tiddles was bit by an infected mouse and...well, you can guess what happens next.

Another “I found it while unpacking” book but this one? I’m not sure how it came into my life. Maybe a gift during my zombie-book phase? Knowing I am a cat lover? I just do not recall – but this one is morbid … and weird … and doesn’t have a lot of substance … and I’m not sure why I’m keeping it??!!
Super quirky, cute and funny! Love all the illustrations and the focus on the true meaning of friendship. Even zombie cat's can teach us something ;) http://www.poeticzombie.com/uncategor...
Well... that fell flat. I thought it was going to be pretty hilarious, but I didn't even crack a smile while reading it. I wasn't a big fan of the illustrations either - could have been so much creepier and hilarious.
I love anything horror related and zombies are just too good, but a zombie cat? That is definitely something different! This adult picture book although short, has a funny story about Tiddles who wants to remain with his owner even though he is wasting away. Jake is scared and locks Tiddles outside, but after a while misses him and after making Tiddles agree he will not try to eat him, he lets him come back inside the house. Even though Jake has to repeatedly mend Tiddles because his body parts keep falling off, they live happily, but for how long? Will Tiddles finally want to eat Jake or not?
I received a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest opinion.
Talk about an abrupt ending! I'm left going, "huh?" I feel like it left off in the wrong spot or just too soon. Other than that, it was fun, though not for kids. It might give them nightmares. It's humorous for teens or adults though. Really awesome illustrations too, by Bethany Straker. They helped a lot to make it a fun read.
A simple cute little book. I borrowed it from my libraries eBook site. Only took a few minutes. A cute story about a kitten, a zombie kitten. Which happen to be two of my favorite things. If you're looking for a quick simple funny read this is the book for you
A cute cat, zombies, a bit of DIY & comics - sounds like the best of the internet rolled into one, does it not? - cute and funny AND with a zombie apocalypse - I'm a fan :)
