Got this book courtesy of Booktasters in exchange for a review. Glad i selected it.

Quite an easy read, written in a very conversational tone. Mindy takes through what is referred to as a "Thought leader" ... more like the modern leader to me. With examples and well written explanations, she delves into aspects of the modern day leader that makes him a thought leader. Being vulnerable, being visible, standing for what you believe in, leaving a legacy. Little bits of things you may have seen everwhere but she puts it all together nicely and sorta pushes you to take the next step to be Thought Leader.

Great read for everyone, concepts are key to being relevant in the new world.

Mindy has an extraordinary experience in international corporate business, as marketing consultant, trained coach, motivational speaker, media personality. Mindy also owns and runs Ecademy Press - publishing house for business authors. As she states in "24 Carat BOLD": "Being the author of a book also gives you instant authority. You can even see the word ‘author’ inside the word ‘authority’."

The book is a summary of knowledge about thought leadership and a detailed description of ways to achieve it. From her wide experience, the author who have already helped so many people to bring their ideas to life, gives the reader an armful of hits, advices and good practices to follow.

These days, far too many people are too eager and quick to declare themselves "thought leaders". Alas, out of them are just churning out the same old thoughts over and over again.

In "24 Carat Bold", Mindy explores what it means to be a true Thought Leader.
She goes on to describe what it means to be one, and the steps which a leader can take to enable them to step up to that role - indeed, she explains why it is vital that we DO step up!

Filled with very clear examples, tips and advice, Mindy leads us through the journey, helping us to build the necessary frameworks and two dispel the myths and stories we tell ourselves which enable us to keep playing small in terms of sharing out messages.

Well worth a read.

I like this book because of its easy accessible and straightforward style. I especially like the tips and pointers on how to write a good book.
