His latest publication is called Bad Catholics (2008 Luath), the first of a trilogy chronicling the exploits of reformed gangster Jimmy Costello.

Historical fiction at its best
A very involved plot (sic), the pace of the story is necessarily slow but this is the way with intrigue which this book has in abundance.
