Very informative and stands the test of time for being originally published in 1952 (aside from a few remarks about homosexuality and slightly slanted interpretations of delinquents).
Science driven, every aspect on handwriting can be isolated and analyzed individually to form the bigger picture. I found this particularly useful for insight on the older generations style of writing and touching on the entire history and structures encountered throughout the world. Opinions often color interpretations but if you fall back on the science of this and look at it from several angles chances are you’ll find the right conclusion.
Tons of examples of writing and a very useful textbook-like material. I will be continuously using this for references.
Klara Roman was not only brilliant but she was a very astute teacher who knew how to get a message across in an easy-to-understand language. That is why her books are classics within the world of graphology and the first place to go when beginning on the life long path of learning. I also like her because she did a lot of her own research and knew what she was talking about from a firsthand perspective, rather than reciting or paraphrasing someone else.
