Depending on how you figure these things this is either the fourth or the sixth volume in this series. For this one there is a theme, namely science fiction (hereafter sci-fi) and future war. The two it should be noted are not exactly the same. I do not have the others in front of me to check but it seems to me that this volume has fewer reviews and more articles than previous volumes. Not a problem as far as I am concerned. Although reviews are nice I found most of the articles to be interesting. I was interested to find one about the Captain Condor feature. That strip ran in Lion back when I was reading it in the sixties, and was a feature I enjoyed. Thus that article was quite nice to see. I will admit that most of the articles only run two or three pages. At times it would be nice to have some longer and in more depth. Still any information on British comics is welcome. There is quite a bit of material covering aspects of the British Sci-Fi comic 2000 AD, which is really not all that surprising. After all it did run features such as Invasion and Rogue Trooper, which are future-war series. All in all, for the fan of British Sci-Fi or Wat comics this is a book worthy of adding to your library.
