This was a very informative and extensively researched history on a section of land and the people who farmed it over the years in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Although I have lived in Canada for over 30 years now, I continue to be fascinated by its history. I certainly learned lots of things I didn't know prior to reading this book, and I appreciate the details that made the men and women of so long come alive for me.

A compelling story of unfortunate occurrences and worse! A true story that touches so much Canadian prairie history that makes it interesting to begin with, but one with murder and mayhem too.

An intriguing account of a century's worth of history, including murder and greed, on a farm in Saskatchewan. The farm is located near a popular therapeutic resort (healing salt waters) where my parents used to go in the 1940s; and one that I have been to a few times in the past 20 years, so I found the book quite fascinating.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a compelling history of a couple of square miles of Saskatchewan, near Moose Jaw. The author focused the telling on the people who owned those 2 square miles-how they obtained it, and what they did with it.

A borrowed this book from a coworker. It was a pretty boring read and I skimmed most of the history of the land.

An interesting history tracing two parcels of land in southern Saskatchewan.
